Now I get what separates 24 from other TV shows.
Other TV shows sell suspense, 24 is based on shock.

You never know who's the mole, you never know whose going to die, you don't care about it, and then it happens.
It's the shock that I'll miss the most from 24.

The producers of 24 no just try at all. They made other series films so dull & uninteresting and now they want to leave us high and dry by ending it with this season abi. . .they must produce a season 9 unless. . . .hmmm

As of yesterday, 24 ceased to be my favorite show. Fringe now has my undivided love and attention. Gosh, do they have to kill everyone off all the time?    I'm really ticked they killed off Renee, yes the show is built on shock factor but this was not necessary. They might as well kill off Chole and his granddaughter while they're at it. My monday night just opened up.

The only shock for me was jack and renee making out, I was more shocked by the death of the president in episode 16. We all knew someone close to jack was gonna die. It's 24's MO.
