NabeelAbu:
there is sense in it. encourage locally made products, that's the only way we can revive our ailing economy. God bless Nigeria.
It was the same message that was passed to watchers of the Film 'The Wedding Party' The guests at the party rejected foreign foods and asked for local dishes. It was a good concept!

according to the Corruption index Nigeria ranks No 47 while Mauritania ranks 50 and Uganda number 46, estimate and Kenya ranks No 36.

http://www.ranker.com/list/the-most-corrupt-countries-in-the-world/info-lists

We are not the most corrupt country in the world, Smomailia but yet our own governet insults everyday.
Let APC put food on people's tables, give the young jobs, give us light, ensure that when we get old, we will have a pension and see if corruption doesnt reduce, but when you have people living in fear of getting old without a pension, house or being catered for,
have people hungry , having people beheaed, i tell u it is worse than coruption

depriving people of their right to life is worse than corrution, having people in the helm of affairs who doi not know their left from their right but holding destines of millions is worse than corruption.
A nation can survive corruption but not fololish leadership.

I said it

You see, the only thing l said (as a counter to what you said in your Post, that elicited my response) was that "Being Rich is not the same thing as being corrupt..... but LOOTING PUBLIC FUNDS is exactly the same thing as being Corrupt".

All this long grammar in your comeback, is just trying to dodge the issue, which is a very simple thing.
Stop getting mixed-up.

BTW: Trying to justify corruption by assigning "Gold Medal, Silver Medal and Bronze medal" to it...is actually a form of Corruption itself.
Corruption is Corruption, there is no... "more corrupt than us" nonsense!

Someone said if you weren't in Minna for IBB's daughter's wedding, you are just a tenant in Nigeria.
The landlords gathered to wine and dine.
Someone complained about the number of private jets flown into the city yesterday as the Abuja-Minna road isn't motorable. Another one argued it doesn't matter. It was a class thing and it is rare seeing a JSS1 boy play ludo with someone writing UTME.
Someone also wondered why suicide bombers ignored these enemies of Nigeria and decided to attack University of Maiduguri, a citadel of learning where dreams are being built and nurtured.
Someone somewhere close to the wedding venue said he strained his eyes looking for the leaking PDP umbrella and the tiny APC broom yesterday and had to go home disappointed when he saw all of them hugging and smiling without talking about their parties.
Someone faraway in Abeokuta decided to analyze their sitting positions and nearly ended up in the hospital. His blood pressure rose.
Another one, a popular PDP apologist in Enugu, broke down in tears yesterday. He saw 'Bola Tinubu, the man behind his hero's political and electoral fate who still lambasted him days ago in Lagos, seated beside Goodluck Jonathan smiling sheepishly to the cameras.
Someone, an unrepentant APC loyalist, saw Ali Modu Sheriff and Ahmed Markafi stand together. He had always prayed for the total collapse of PDP. He couldn't eat yesternight anyway.
Someone watched Channels Television news and saw Governor Ganduje and his sworn enemy Kwankwaso seated inches apart. He is still praying to God to wake him from his nightmare.
Another one made sure he followed the news on radio waiting for any divisive religious matter to be raised only to hear voices of Bukola Saraki, a muslim, and Yakubu Dogara, a christian, screaming for those expensive wines. He is still changing stations with hopes.
Someone checked online media outlets yesternight and saw pictures of Yorubas, Hausas, Fulanis, Igbos all under one roof with their different tribal wears. There was no tribal statement. No tribal war. He broke the screen of his phone.
Here we are.
Continue defending these people who have divided you along religious, ethnic and tribal lines.

My friend posted this on facebook and I can't help sharing it here: THE CAULDRON OF NIGERIAN WITCHES IN MINNA
They were all in Minna to pay homage to the man who made them rich at the expense of over 120 million Nigerians as at 1989 when, the then self-styled president, Ibrahim Babangida introduced the "Second-Tier Foreign Exchange Market" (SFEM).
With this Babangida's economic monster came the "Black Markets" for fuel and forex in Nigeria. Commenting on that madness, Fela Anikulapo described it in this words "he introduce 2nd tier, everything com tear to pieces...everything com expensive".
This was when stealing divorced corruption, and ass-screwed men ensured "stealing is not corruption"
In Nigeria, it is better nothing begins, and if anything must begin, we pray for the better, because everything that begins here never ends. It is a spiritual burden.
Our present recession started in 1991 when "round tripping" came into our economic lexicon, and men gave their "asses" for panel-beating in order to access our oil resource and its financial generations.
That era created some of our world class rich men, and Sani Abacha made it worst, creating all of those who championed the new generation banks of 1999, which are still waxing stronger today.
Many nouveau rich, private jet owners and users, who were in Minna before the weekend, are economic and political demons created in IBB's image. If you doubt me, google who these men were before 1990.
That "national assembly" of witchcraft in Minna was not a proof of political gathering but a gathering of Nigeria's bloodsuckers, witches, demons, put altogether as "principalities and powers; rulers of darkness and the spiritually wicked.
They were there to salute their Don Corleone.
Strange enough, members of the Boko Haram went missing that day. I wish to believe that the economic advantage of Boko Haram to every Nigerian is to find presence in such gatherings to do what they know best to do.
But no! They would rather wear private security uniform to guard and guide our bloodsuckers, who do not care whether their acts are obscene, callous and insensitive. Thank God, Goodluck Jonathan was there to prove the point I have made.
We need Ibrahim Babangida to pay for the sufferings of all Nigerians. I want him prosecuted for crimes against Nigerians. If possible, ensure he no longer parades his black angels before us again. There are of course devils in human garb qualify for the firing squad. They should die with bullets tearing into their thick, snaky skins.
We will not sleep over their jets, We only pray for them to have the Mohammed Zia Ul Haq experience as it happened in the sky of Pakistan.

On the contrary, it's a new law Instituted by Christ and therefore not binding on them. You can't condemn them retrospectively. It's like the law on adultery. Under the Mosaic code, it has to be a physical sexual Intercourse. But in the revised law of Christ, even looking at a woman lustfully is tantamount to being guilty of adultery.
