Eversince - the rhetoric regarding the civil war has been heavily one sided. The Igbo people claim that they are the ‘only’ casualties of the civil war.

However, an old employee of the eastern government in the 60’s has recounted how Biafran soldiers killed, maimed and buried bodies of the inhabitants of Calabar.

Qoute:
You Calabar people say you want a state of your own. Let me tell you that by the time the Federal Troops come here to enforce the mad idea there will be no one left but grass and weeds, for we shall have flatened your land and killed all you Efiks.

Besides the confession of this employee, we have supporting evidence regarding the inhumane treatment of minority groups under Biafra’s territories.

These are issue’s the Igbo people and IPOB need to answer. If they so love and are loved by the Calabar’s, Igala’s and Idoma’s – Why did they murder them ?

Evidence continues to proove that the Biafran project is nothing but a proxy to access the wealth of the oil rich territories of the Niger-Delta and subdue the minorities of the Federal Republic.

Qoutes:
while ojukwu was planning his secession …. he and his collaborators carried out unprecendented acts of terrorism and intimidation agains the innocent minority people of the Calabar, Ogoja, and Rivers fro wanting their own states.

It was against this background that minority leaders in diff erent regions formed movements that started agitating for the creation of more states where their interests could be adequately protected. Some of the major movements that were formed before independence included the Calabar-Ogoja-River (COR) State Movement in the Eastern Region, the Mid-West State Movement in the Western Region, and the Middle-Belt State Movement in the Northern Region.

That was obviously the immediate objective but the long term goal of the minority leaders in state creation was to liberate the minorities from majority dominance.

William Norris of the London Times who visited Biafra, also reported an eye?witness account in which some men of Ibibio ethnic origin were beaten to death at Umuahia on April 2, 1968.

According to Ikpeme, the Igbo leadership, who did not like the minority agitation, decided either to force the fi ve million non-Igbo minorities into the new republic or eliminate them. It was on this basis, claims Ikpeme, that Biafran soldiers were quickly sent to the minority areas to “keep down the people, detain or even kill all who dared raise a voice in protest against the idea of Biafra.

Violence towards the minorities was not perpetrated only by the Biafran troops. The federal troops were equally culpable of this crime

He asserted that no fewer than six thousand Rivers people were sent to diff erent refugee camps in Igboland.

Lies.
Killing and maiming innocent civilians is the trademark of the Hausa Fulani aka Federal troops, they still do it till date.

Don't forget that from Benue down to the Atlantic Ocean everybody is igbo or Iyamiri in the eyes of the Hausa man till date.
The minorities in the South suffered the same fate with the igbos, they were massacred in the north.
They had no choice than to join Biafra.

Don't also forget that the second highest ranking military officer in the Biafran Army was from a minority.......
In Biafra nobody was marginalized because of where they came from....its a land of equal opportunities.

The Ibibio land is replete with the atrocities of the Biafran army.

I have come to know some water Wells that were used as mass grave, one that is easy to locate in the heart of Uyo is in Methodist Primary school, Oron Road.

As for minorities in the Biafran army, doesn't mean anything, were there no Yorubas fighting on the side of Biafra?

This is not news. Its culled from research papers.

I am doing my duty, as a Nigerian. I have also provided the source of my information. I will continue to research this IPOB and Biafra issue - we cannot listen to a single party.... others where involved.

Adekunle "black scorpion" murdered your people not biafrans.

The niger deltans decided that biafra wasn't good for them so they contacted Nigerian troops while the biafran army was stationed there...Not knowing the biafran troops knew what was happening.

The biafran troops withdrew dead in the night before adekunle arrived.

When adekunle arrive, he believed the niger deltans were lying and they still harboured biafrans so he asked the to come out of hiding so he could give them free food. When they came out, he opened fire on them..killing innocent women and children.

Adekunle continued until he got to asaba Wch was an igbo town. There the biafrans held and ambush after he came in killing innocents. The asaba massacre went on until the biafrans engaged him and adekunle suffered his first defeat.

Obasanjo hated adekunle because he couldn't fight against armed men but was quick to kill innocents.

after the Hausa vs Yoruba clash at ife, only yorubas were arrested including an oba, they're still unjustly detained till today plus many other problems affecting the yorubas but you hardly see them agitate or discuss their problems rather they would be moving from one igbo thread to another spewing hatred over what is not their concern. a famous i said that "an unexamined life is not worth living"

you lie!

The only recorded maltreatment of the ND was when ojukwu executed the generals from there. Wch was right cos they betrayed biafrans and sabotaged her victory in the Midwest.

ND people pleaded to come into biafra but they were rejected. The niger bridge was bombed to stop movement of Nigerian troops and sabos from the ND.

The ND was under the Nigerian army for 2 years during the war during Wch they killed and wiped villages.

Why are you lying? These are recorded events

This is not between you and Yoruba.

Have you apologized to the Eastern minorities for these killings yet? Have your leaders told them you are SORRY?

That should be your concern. I see now the reason Ijaws confiscated your properties, they have legitimate reason to do so. You burnt theirs and left yours standing. They did not steal Ibo properties, they used it to replace the ones they lost in your evil hands.

Tell your minorities you are SORRY and ask for their FORGIVENESS and stop obsessing about Yoruba.
