instead of him to defend himself reasonably and beg the opposing actors,he is proving stubborn, petty and recalcitrant.the topic on ground is dino's recall and not payment of kogi workers salaries.when the salary issue comes up,we will tackle it.he should have copied shehu sani's style and know when to draw the line between foolishness, nuisance, thuggery and civil criticism.inec should start verifying the signatures asap so that before october, the nuisance of a senator is sent packing.

Blainz:

The electoral law on recal stipulate more than 50% of registered voters in that constituency is needed for recall and not number of those that voted.

you can now change the track of the song you're listening to.

You don't get it... With all the mobilization/campaign by all the candidates/political parties on the election day, they only got 111,534 votes in total while a recall exercise that does not last up to 3hours had 188,588 voters. This is more than open rigging if you ask me.

Well Dino is a bunch of trouble, Yeye bello should be ready to fight him till 2019.

This is what should be happening IN EVERY STATE of the federation. A battle between elected representatives that brings to the fore, information, enlightenment and hopefully, power to the people. That section of Kogites have shot up the power ladder to be the most effective political bloc in the country. Whether the recall comes to pass or not, democracy will win and hopefully the people will be better for it. Like I said months ago, it is a pity that Nigerians shot themselves in the foot by a collective gang up to destroy what will have been solid, credible opposition in the PDP. Now we can see the role of having an alternative voice in governance. What we witness in Dino's war will have been a frequent occurence at all levels and the mistakes this present government made and continhes to make will have been mitigated with much political pressure. No country can develop without the platform for continuous debate and fierce opposition. Now that the PDP is comatosed the APC will have to find another contender and it appears it is coming from within. After Kaduna with Rufai and Sani we have this. We hope many more will spring up in the coming months and years to strengthen democracy via the people.

The same jaundiced thinking that shut down the PDP and is Nigeria better for it. Better lift your head and be pragmatic in thought. Dino is not calling for the destruction of the government. He raises valid points that should be taken for what they are. Is it evil to pressure a government to manage its affairs better. I just don't understand you people. Is Dino fighting for his own wages. Granted the people have the absolute right to recall him but it so funny to think that you want to extinguish the only voice fighting for ultimately your own good and the governor had better heed and roll out solid reasons to back his non performance instead of waiting for the electorate to oust him at the polls. For his joy at an increasingly enlightened electorate is a very sharp, double edged sword that will come for his own neck shortly.

Earlier today INEC received formal petitios from Senator Dino Melaye's constituents.6 bags which contained the signatures of 52.3 percent of the electorates from the zone and other petitions were submitted to INEC in Abuja.Dino Melaye has reacted to the petitions, describing them as hoax and absolute comedy.Below is what he wrote...

'It can not succeed. It is a hoax and absolute comedy of errors. I'm laughing at the stupidity of kogi state government. Many appointees will go to jail for forgery. Even dead people's names on the recall register. A governor who does not know what double registration is may not as well know the procedure for recall. Every lie has an expiry date. This comedy of errors will soon end. No shaking at all. This won't solve the problem of not paying salaries for over 15 months. No retreat no surrender. Truth is my only Defence'

dino is simply playing to the gallery, indirectly fighting for himself and grandstanding.he is not the only voice in the senate.we have better voices i shehu sani, ben bruce, john enoh akpabio etc.if he was fighting for the good of the masses, why attach himself like a houseboy to saraki and wife? have you seen any senator from kwara doing such? was he elected to go and buy and display the most luxurious cars? why cant he set up a constituency office? why are other senators in kogi that are even pdp not being recalled ? with these posers,i have permanently neutralized you and your pay master.let him be recalled so that other senators would be shaken and sit up.up apc

that is the power a governor wields in nigeria.are you now telling us that all those that came out to vote dino are real voters and no rigging was involved? dont you realize that yahaya has been planning this since april and made the move this month? all the recall process needed was the signaturez of the voters and they moved from house to house getting the signatures of those voters that are alive, real and resident in kogi west and those that are not, they simply forged them.dino must go and will go.

One less clown in the Senate. I cannot imagine the Senate without Dino.

Karma works in mysterious ways.
Was it not the same Dino that left Falaye's camp to support Bello?
Was it not the same Dino that said Bello becoming a governor was by divine intervention & that Bello was ordained by God, that nobody can usurp God's plan for the people of Kogi?
It seems Dino has taken driving lessons with a certain governor from the south west on how to make a U- turn.

You think Dino will be recall? In this Nigeria?

Funny.

The Recall Experiment. Where is Olusegun Adeniyi? This is also a good topic.

111,534 voted in election, but 188,588 ‘Approved’ Melaye’s recall.... Really?
Listening to "Ajekun iya" by Dino.
. Just about 74000 or so people voted in the election Dino scored about 41, 000 or so and smart had about 3000 less votes than Dino but the recall has over 188,000+ ppl. Signing to recall Dino. So Okun ppl vote more for recall than actuall election of their leaders. Bello and Smart are just dumb and taking very dangerous steps to fighting their political rivals. Why turn his own people against him? Funny enough the people I talk to about this are not seeing anything wrong about Dino. He has not changed his position since day one. He has kept on saying pay salaries and pension owed folks for 15 months. Till this moment, the Bello camp has not mentioned Dino's own crime. What is Dino's crime? I want to even know.

He's going no where, the governor that has refused to pay workers salary cannot dictate to us.

This Kogi state governor is a dead log, owing 15 months workers salary and all his energy is channelled at Daniel Melaye.

Curse of poor leadership in Nigeria.
dino too has not done any project for the people of kogi west who elected him, thats why theyy want him back home so that they can send someone that can represent them

Projects are executive responsibilities and not legislature's.
