Nothing wrong with exporting yams but not at the detriment of the masses. We won't be looking for foreign exchange while the cost of yam in the market continues to sky rocket. Bought one very small tuber of yam (one serving) last Sat for 650. With this exports now it might climb to a thousand and the big ones will probably get to 3thousand naira.
bottomline is grow more of it and its alternative like potatoes and cocoyam

So when you try to make calls and have bad service you go ahead and start a mobile network company?

Things are not done that way, we all have our respective duties and not all meant to be farmers.

But the farmer decide who he wants to sell to, so he can feed his family and school them and also improve his business

The farmer chose to sell to those paying in foreign currency

Some farmers will sell to the local market, it is not the government jobs to say where I as a farmer sell my products and certainly not their job to farm for us.

According Dr Olukayode Oyeleye, the Special Assistant to the minister (Media). Ogbeh

This video is the opposite of the OP. The speaker here was actually highlighting the dangers of exporting yam if we can't preserve them here with technology.

But why? We haven't seen enough yam to eat while exporting it?

Who is really behind all this policy in this country?

Let there be enough yam in the country and it will be cheap and affordable by the common man. exporting it will definitely lead to scarcity and leads to increase in price as well.

Which part of all these are you doing?

Benoxvals:
Work on uninterrupted electricity in the country..
Import production machines/devices..
Set up factories and employ people...
Put our raw materials to good use...
Export finished products instead...
How difficult is this(?)
