Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha,
on Sunday berated various group
agitating for Nigeria’s breakup, saying
“They will be disappointed.” This is contained in his Eid–El–Fitr
goodwill message signed by his Chief
Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemeodo. The governor stressed that for Nigeria
to be great it has to pass through
“certain challenges.” He expressed optimism that after the
troubles, the country would come out
“stronger and more united.” The statement reads, “As Muslims in
the country and in Imo state, in
particular join their Muslim brothers
and Sisters all over the World to
Celebrate Eid – El – Kabir.
“The Imo State Governor, Owelle
Rochas Okorocha, has called for serious
prayers for the oneness and progress of
the nation, than they had done in the
past.
“What we need now are prayers for
the leaders and for genuine love
among Nigerians irrespective of their
tribes and religion, with honest
prayers, the nation would come out
stronger and more United from its current challenges. “No nation had achieved greatness and
prosperity without going through
certain challenges in the process and
concluded that Nigeria’s case would
not be different.
“Those expecting that the country will
divide will be disappointed and
Nigerians should begin to see light at
the end of the tunnel for the nation’s
economic and political growth. “This is not the right time for hate
speeches or to apportion blame for any
reason against one another, but time
for tolerance and understanding
among Nigerians. “We pray for President Muhammadu
Buhari and wish all the Muslims in the
country a memorable Eid-El-Kabir.”

Okorocha is the only eastern governor that continues to condemn IPOB openly. The others are scared or planning to use IPOB for election.

Okorocha should be considered for SGF.

...and after what next...? Even if he is made the president, like OBJ, would the several agitations across he country stop. Most Nigerians have like you have half brain...

Waiting to see them come insult their ancestors since it is all they are trained from home to do.

As far as you don't worship Kanu and gobble ravenously at his intestinal waste, you are a slave or an efulefu.

Can hardly wait to have them leave.

Okoroawusa should go and pay pensioners and indigenous contractors who borrowed money from banks to execute projects and can no longer pay back. Someof them have died of heart attack due to okoroawusa's wickedness.

That fetish nonsense he hangs on his neck won't save his fat neck when the time is right.

It is unfortunate most Nigerians including the goofy governor that goes by the name Okoroawusa do not understand the context of unity as it relates to Niger-Area. These unfortunate scallywags only understood unity with respect to Niger-Area simply in the form of amalgamation. The union was a colonialist machination for the sole interest of the cheats in London.

However unity as in harmony or solidarity is completely lost on all Nigerians and in fact, led them to a life of insincerity and hypocrisy. Unity as in the sense of oneness or wholeness does not reside in Nigeria hence Nigerians have cultivated the sense of strife and discord through the governmental institutionalization of tribalism in the name of quota system and the idiotic federal character. Those who are holding brief on behalf of the phantom unity in Nigeria are agents of doom. The earlier we go our separate ways, the better for the next generation that will occupy the land mass known as Niger-Area.
