Mr Man, even the highest ranking Igbo military officer is not in support of Biafra, it is going to be difficult... the highest we can have is a Boko haram situation in the South East where a guerilla army is fighting the Nigerian army.

Ojukwu's period was the best time for an independent Biafra - it seems he was the highest ranking Igbo military officer at that time and during that period, military defense was a lot stronger than military attack, that is why the Nigerian army lost a lot more soldiers than the Biafran army.

Things are different now, attack is a lot stronger than defending... once you have the right ammunition.

Going back to political aspect, if the political ruling class of the Igbos is not in support of Biafra, it would NEVER happen... South Sudan succeeded from Sudan because the political ruling class wanted a different country.

Restructuring is very likely (as Southern Nigerians we all want that)... but seceding, I don't see that happening in the next 30 years.
