Sorry for misunderstanding you ,we are realy in a serious trouble, the worst is that the people are not united and the politicians themselves gan are crafty ,they will always unite when they want to deceive the masses

that is our actual problem, the politicians cooperate more than we do.for those tribalistic people,i wonder how it has helped their generations.saraki is nursing the ambition to become the president of the country and i kid you not if that happens nigeria becomes a gonner. kwara state is dead today.if saraki was the president and someone like kanu tries what he is trying now i can guarantee you he will join his ancestors within a short period.for every person who wishes nigeria the best Oshibajo may be our last shot.if we miss then only someone like rollins of ghana can save us and that would be a big miracle.

Sorry sir ,but most of them were not there during the jonathan era plus are you trying to say that jonathan is the cause of what is happening in the senate. i am not understanding you sir

Honestly, l wonder at how you Nigerian Yoots "reason" (No offence at you, please)

The Youths of Nigeria has to go beyond all these Jonathan Vs. Buhari election loss palaver!
They have to elevate their thinking beyond Past Election, Tribe and Religion otherwise, things would only ALWAYS get Worse for them.

Guess What, whether you voted Buhari or Jonathan in 2015, whether you are a Christian or Muslim, whether you are from the North, East, South West or South South........ each and everyone falling into ANY of the classes above, is affected and will continue to be affected by the arrogance, pilferage, recklessness and blackmail going-on in the National Assembly.

Tell me, is it only Buhari voters that ply the Lagos-Ibadan Express road or is it only Northerners or Christians?

So, if you all refuse to 'wake-up' but cling to the past and keep harping on how Jonathan lost the election, how does that change your "position/lot/plight" in your daily lives?

It is sad that the Youths of other countries are able to articulate what affects them clearly and map out strategies on how to tackle those who oppress them, while majority of Nigerian Youths are just stuck in 'mundane and childish rants' like "they did not vote for Jonathan, they are Yorubas, they are Muslims, they are Yiibos, they are Northerners, they are Imo Catholics and not from Mbaise, Osinbajo is not our brother, e.t.c".

Things that will never improve their lot in life but rather makes them cannon-fodder for the thieving Politicians.
Many of the "Sycophantic Goats" on Nairaland will grow up becoming errand Boys and girls for the children of the likes of Dini Melaye and Saraki, even when they are twice older than those children
. grin grin grin

Make una continue, una hear. undecided

When I said that the ship of Nigeria was hovering the political Bermuda triangle, people thought I was not making sense but here is the reality at hand. Osinbajo should know that his back man (Tinubu) never wanted Saraki as senate president and as such drawn a bold battle line between them. So the senate as long as Saraki remains their head will stop at nothing but to frustrate Osinbajo's administration.

Saraki is not a Yoruba but a Fulani man,his father is a fulani while the mother is yoruba, saraki himself said that he is a fulani man with yoruba mother

Do you speak out of Ignorance...or mischief?

The father of the current Senate President (Bukola Saraki) is named OLUSOLA Saraki.

Have you ever seen a Fulani man name his child or allow his child to be named OLUSOLA? (meaning God gives wealth in Roruba language), while he himself names his children Bukola and Gbemisola (the sister)?
I mean, how is it possible as you claim, that a so-called Fulani, paternal family continue to give their children and generations, Yoruba names?

Honestly, the Youths of this country are doomed because simple logical reasoning, they are incapable of, yet they want to be leaders of tomorrow!

I hope you all see why even these very old men in their 70's, keep recycling themselves, they just cant imagine handing over power to "Yoots with such challenging cerebral capacity" grin grin grin

The National Assembly is as redundant as a bridge in a desert and has devised these distractions as means to make themselves appear busy to a beleaguered public.

Apart from engaging the executive in a seemingly intractable conflict of supremacy, what more can they really hold onto as evidence of their presence in our current political experience?

What a shame.
Senate contains rogues as senators in this plenary

as slow as you think Jonathan his he always in good standing with the legislature

Even when a supposed leader of the presidency was there, the senate has never been focused. The greatest undoing of this presidency was to hands-off from election in the senate house. Buhari wanted to be more democratic than George Washington when he said he wouldn't interfer with their election. Now the result of the elections are hunting this presidency till date. I've never ever seen a more disorganized bunch of noise makers than we have now. Every bill sent by the presidency has stiff opposition, every appointee has confirmation issues!

And te presidency isnt even helping matters; aren't there party faithfuls in the house? Did saraki monopolize all of them? What is the APC chairman even doing? These people know little or nothing about politics abeg.
Saraki is bribing them from the billions he has stolen to short their mouth up.

Even at that, we know the Senators are a bunch of useless rogues but the Presidency also needs to assert itself more.
Though, we must all bear in mind that these gang of thieves in the Senate can muster the "numbers" to impeach the President, it now rests on the masses, especially the Yoots, to say NO, we will rsist these Senators.

Once that is sure, the Presidency can even dissolve this Senate, with the backing of the citizens.
But looking at the comments here, it appears the masses (mainly the suffering Yoots) are too preoccupied "chasing Ring Worm, while allowing Leprosy to fester"!
