I blv the govt in all levels within a state should be proactive and sensitive. The issue of badoo or whatever wouldn't hv gotten any closer to this if prompt action was taken at the initial stage. Nevertheless, it's better late than never for the state, local govt and traditional rulers to stand up to their duties of providing a peaceful n condusive enveronment for the populace. |

I was there last 2 days,just stopped at a junction and was waiting for bus. There came this car with rigged faces in it,i just sighted their face not too far, then I immediately crossed over to the other side, dat place is extremely dangerous. Ikorodu pple are winning the badoo war single-handedly- eventho its savage tactics but its working, 2 burnt in my area in 1day- and the govt will now say they want to clear it after the citizens took the matter into their own hands with quick n good results. The obas and influential ikorodu residents are the sponsors of these badoo people, they all know themselves, and the police is aiding them by folding their arms and watching the slaughter of innocent families right in their homes. No correct credible intelligence on this issue, na so so dem say, dem dey do like this, do like that. One mumu way about Nigeria is, its either no person in the kitchen (like well planned and completed infrastructural development) or many people in the kitchen(like badoo group, cultist on the streets and campuses, hired killing, etc). Gov. Ambode, as a leader you have to rise above the emotions and let the grace of God guide your decisions on your strategies. You have to be objective without wasting time, study Obama sometimes - was not perfect but a great leader with empathy. Don't buy into that sentiment of killers and fetish ritualists hiding behind this made up excuse. Every level of security personnel need to go in there and be smart about their movement and other peoples movement, bring correct forensics, ask questions and remind liars that they would be consequences if their statements are false, etc. Let us learn to start intelligently solving issues as a nation without acting like the devil's kids. |
