How about those that travelled out! I then, thought I would be the only one attending a federal school. So i tell them then, that employers always favor graduates with a federal school degree. That was hating and I can identify an hate comment.

I can relate with you,graduated from unilorin with a 2.1 and for more than 20 years,there was no record of first class in my department,nevertheless I haven't studied abroad so I can't compare both

That is a very big lie. University of Ibadan is ranked in the same league with conventry. Both of them are horrible shitty universities. If you aren't going to a top 200 university worldwide, you are better off studying in Nigeria.

For UG studies, I agree. However, for PG, I advise one goes outside.

I don't know about Nigeria, but in the UK, it's a BIG DEAL to graduate with a First-class honours degree. I'm following this lady on twitter, she has been inundated with scholarship and job offers.
