My check engine light came up. My car has been jerking while shifting gear, for some while. I scaned my car and got the Code p2716. My mechanic said I need to change the ecu, that I can't find replacement solenoids. We Got a replacement ecu for 30k,however, the problem (gear shift jerking and check engine) still persist.

The ladipo seller has requested that the gear be loosened down, so he can do further diagnosis.

Any ideas as to how to handle this.

Your mechanic is a Learner. Putting the cart before the horse. You are on your way to buying another gearbox. Bear that in mind. What's the colour of your transmission fluid to start with

The transmission fluid was already black.

Replacement of gearbox. Any thing outside this is a waste of resources. Sorry about this

plz i need help. my 07 corolla showed code p2716 shift solonoid D electrical and check engine light is showing steady. I experience a hard shift whenever i select gear from D or R. and also when gear is changing from 1 to 2.
I changed the solonoid brain box and its still happening. plz help
