And did you hear China is no longer happy with the one child policy? Canada is even begging people to reproduce but they say no. Reason is because when you implement such policies, in time it becomes the norm and people wouldn't want to change and it becomes a negative because when your older generation begins to die off, you won't have enough young ones to replace them, hence you'd be forced to look outside to fill the population quota.
This brings in aliens into your country with different cultures and beliefs who in time will out reproduce you and totally take over your land. You will then become a minority in your own land.

What Onan did was an outright breakage of law and that was why God killed him. He was selfish, he didn't want the genealogy of his brother to continue hence God's anger on him.
Deuteronomy 25:5 If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger:her husband's brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an husband's brother unto her.
6 And it shall be, that the firstborn which she beareth shall succeed in the name of his brother which is dead, that his name be not put out of Israel.
Thank you for putting the useless OP in place. That's how people misquote the bible for their selfish reasons. 1 Like |

badthinds: First of all. Happy sunday, good people of Nigeria.
Well, I would have entitled this thread: "Part of the bible where someone spewed cum on the ground" ...but that's not my concern.
There was a time when In Genesis 38:9 " But Onan knew that the children would not belong to him, so when he had intercourse with his brother’s widow, he let the semen spill on the ground, so that there would be no children for his brother."
Any version you have with you will do.
Here are his reasons
Facts: - His brothers, who had been husbands to that Same woman had died mysteriously - Now it was his turn as in the tradition (from God) to marry his brother's widow.
When Onan's father noticed this mystery, he felt reluctant giving her to Onan - the one left. So he told her to be patient...that he hasn't grown enough. She was patient...though desperate. When she felt it was trick...you could read more to see what she did...how she got her father in-law to have sex with her!, so she could get back in track.
Now If you were Onan. Wouldn't you do the same? (spilling it)...but unfortunately, the bible recorded it that God killed Onan for this.
Back to the matter. This is the earliest birth control approach recorded in the bible. my guy, is not Onan that his father, Judah was reluctant to let him be with Tamar, the widow. It was Shelah, their last born that their father, Judah was reluctant to let him be with Tamar, the widow. After God slew Onan for spilling his semen on the floor when he, Onan, came in to her, Tamar, their father, Judah, now told the widow, Tamar, to be patient and to go and dwell in her father's house for Shelah, the youngest son is too young and also scared to take her, the widow, because of wht happened to his brothers, Er (late Tamar's husband and Onan). |

When did littering kids like everywhere show that a man and a woman had succeeded in life? Is it a crime to decide not to give birth or rather do just one as to make things easy and getting a better standard of living? How do they even feel, watching this kids go to "school " with torn and heavily patched uniforms? Why won't there be rise in crime when kids who are still meant to be in school are sent out to the wild to scavage for anything to take care of themselves, siblings and even Parents! Mehnnnnn...
