Dear colleagues, I bring you greetings from the almighty God, the Chukwu Abiama and creator of heavens and earth. As you are aware, political campaign months are here again with us. Very soon, they shall be engaging you into various emergency appointments. They shall bring you empowerment forms to fill while promising you heaven on earth. They shall create out avenues to be paying you N12,000 to N15,000 just to keep you in their control. They shall as usual deceive you with mouth watery promises. At last, they will abandon you and take care of their families. They shall make you monsters, terrors and bullies amongst your mates in order to give you fake sense of belonging and arrival. They will use you to break our common resolve. At the end when they must have used you to their success, they will help set you up. Your end will be just with you. Our today and tomorrow have been mortgaged. Those who shamelessly ate plates of Rice at voting booths on the day of election in 2015 can no longer recover their senses. We today live as miserable youths and they laugh at us as hungry and wasted generation. At campaigns and elections, their children and families are flown overseas. In their mansions and houses they sit and watch you on televisions as you are being slaughtered and arrested by security agents. At the end, they have their lives and you are dead. Please shun their antics as they get set once again to come to you. Reject them and stay away from them. Stone them when they try to bribe you with blood money. Yes, the blood of our murdered fellow youths. Yes, the blood of DR. Emereonye who was just murdered for daring to lead beneficiaries of Gov. Ohakim's 10,000 jobs for Imo youths. He was killed because he simply demanded that his future stolen from him and many others be returned back to them. Imo is soaked in blood. The innocents are crying in pains and hell has become our abode. We have even been bewitched that we go all out to fight and murder fellow youths who press for our freedom. They set us against us. They remote control our reasoning and we become toys of stupidity in their hands. We are fools! They tell us we are Leaders of tomorrow. They keep shifting back our tomorrow and keep eating our tomorrow, and what do we do? We sheepishly fight and murder each other as gladiators they had made of us. We have been fooled! We are fools. We ought to be ashamed of ourselves. We are disgrace to our generation and doomed to greater curses from our children. But there is hope if we must rise up today and say enough is enough. Rise up and confront the world with wisdom and truth. Sure blood suckers will come after you; they shall seek to silence you as they are currently after many of us who are daring to question them. But note that those who seek to guide their lives end up losing them. This is the time to take our destinies into our hands. Rise up and take again your today and tomorrow. Don't be used as assassins, thugs, and election touts. Please be wise and pray without seizing. The God of fire shall consume destroyers of our destinies, and the hour is here. In our very eyes, we shall see the end of our captors. Amen. Remain blessed. |
