Financial stability a word synonymous with banks, government, big organizations, as well as everything that has to do with money. A word also used to describe the steady source of income of a person


Marriage a union of love and faith between two people. The highest institution of informal learning. The dilemma for many young adults today is to determined which of these two milestones should be achieved first

Oftentimes, young adults within our societies are placed under immerse pressure by relatives and friends to chose a partner to settle down with. Many of these young adults may succumb under these pressures and settle down with a partner. Some may even decide to settle down without a steady and proper source of income because they believe love conquers all.

Others might disagree and refuse to bow to such pressures without a steady source of income because they believe it is needed for a stable and peaceful marriage. In contrast, those who are in support of marriage before financial stability might argue that no measure of preparation can be sufficient enough for a marriage because it is the oldest institution of learning; as such marriage involves a lot of ups and downs

Therefore, the arguments continue to move back and forth with no logical conclusion. Nonetheless, the question still remains which of marriage or financial stability should be of utmost importance to a young adult.
