For the first time in more than three months, Muhammadu Buhari addressed his compatriots from his country, Nigeria. In a speech to the nation broadcast on national television, the head of state thanked Nigerians for their “prayers”, called for unity and reaffirmed his willingness to fight terrorism. Not a word, however, about his state of health.

It is a brief and concise speech that delivered on Monday, August 21 a president Muhammadu Buhari with the voice insured. During the 3 min 30 that lasted his televised speech, the Nigerian president even had many eyes out of camera of the camera.
