#1 - Ultimately, women are looking for friendship. Yes, they want romance, but at the day’s end, they want to know that they are married to someone who has their back like a friend does.

#2 - Love is a choice, not a feeling. We choose to love our husband/wife. The feelings follow and are important. If you rely on feelings to determine the love that you have for your spouse, you will indeed be confused.

#3 - Marriage is an adventure. Which means that you need to be creative and adventurous. Seek opportunities to have fun and enjoy life. Find out what your wife likes to do and do those things. Introduce her to things you like to do as well.

If you are the finance person - you pay the bills. If your wife is - let her. Think about it as teamwork, rather than your desires and her desires.
