The man said the wage bill for the state is 8 billion naira.so the 2nd batch of paris refund was just used for the payment of february 2017 salary.Benue is owing state govt workers 6 months salary and presently the state civil servants are on strike.

Bailout funds have been shared to states twice, then paris fund shared again yet most states end up not paying salaries. You still want recovered loots to be shared to state governors as evidence that money was recovered so it will end up like the bailout funds and the paris funds.

Most of the problem we have in this country is from the governors; but ironically, everyone's eyes is on Abuja.

That's why Nigeria needs to restructure so that eyes will focus more on their governors than Abuja.

Any small thing na to dey shout buhari up and down like crase people. They will not ask their useless governors, commissioners, LG chairmen, ministers questions or protest for good roads and other meaningful thing. The state wage bill shouldn't be more than 3bill.

One thing we keep asking is, how come the wage bill of the state has been increasing since he took office when there's been no recruitment? And how come there's not been a corresponding increase in PAYE tax collected?

I blame Akume for foisting such a slowpoke on us even though he performed fairly well when he was there.

So you must wait for the country to be restructured before you hold your leaders accountable. Unfortunately, Cross River State is already doom, because there is no governor in the state, so if any money was ever paid, am certain it won't get to anywhere near that poor state. Whosoever brought the plague by name ayade upon us God won't forgive him easily.
