TheKingIsHere:

Let the states be responsible for their resource control, until then, eyes will be on Abuja first. Same way Aregbesola was lying back then that the reason he was owing salaries was because GEJ held the money. All eyes went to GEJ immediately despite the lies.

Governors will always give excuses and shift attention to Abuja for their gross incompetence.

Governors will always give excuses if the FG doesn't expose them. When Aregbesola was lying against Jonathan, why didn't Jonathan publish and expose Aregbesola by making the allocation given to all states public? The FG is making the funds given to states public so that the people, especially the youths can use their brain to ask questions instead of making noise like headless chickens up and down the internet. Same way EFCC is exposing some evil politicians who stole billions and the same youths are protesting in support of thieves being exposed with stupid excuses of 'it is our oyel money, we can steal it, go and probe Babangida, Obasanjo, Tinubu, Atiku and blah blah' ..Oga if you people don't wake up and begin to hold your leaders accountable, you will suffer and complain till Jesus comes... all these your emotional crap of PDP, APC, GEJ, Buhari nonsense won't help you. Wake up and face your problems. GEJ is still friends with all the politicians stealing your money whether they are PDP or APC. I am sure you don't even know the senator representing your constituency both state and federal or your LG chairman, but you will be shouting restructure up and down.

Primary school teachers in Akwa Ibom are still owed salaries since April this year. Akwa Ibom State should be included because of that. It's really sad that teachers are owed even when their salaries are very meagre.

Abia state university teaching hospital(Absuth) workers are being owed close to 9months salary infact they have not received any salary since January 2017,Abia state polytechnic lecturers face the same predicament, they may down tools any moment from now, anybody who says Abia state is not owing salaries/pensions is incorrect.

Wat do states do with their monthly allocations?

Dis country needs to review d cost of governance once and for all. We neva hear of governor and his cabinet being owed salaries, bonuses or benefits or d President and ministers being owed or even lawmakers been owed d same. And these are d ones who take d lion share of budget for salaries. But yet U'll always hear pensioners, civil servants, teachers and others who wen combined earn less than d security vote of d Governor or President but yet paying dem is always a problem.

Treasury bills. Safest way to make money. A governor puts 6 billion in treasury bills @ 18 - 20% non-taxable interest. shocked

The black man is doomed. Something as basic as salary should not even be discussed. It should be as basic as the air you breathe. But, here, in Zoogeria, we hear and see unpaid salaries...several months arrears.

STATE GOVERNMENT WORKERS ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THE GOVERNMENT.

APART FROM CUTTING THEIR SALARIES, THE REMAINING ARE NOT EVEN PAID AS AT WHEN DUE.

I AM NOT EVEN TALKING ABOUT UNPAID SALARIES OF SOME AND ALMOST FORGOTTEN PENSION PAYMENT.

WE WRITE THIS, NOT OUT OF HATRED, BUT LET THE RIGHT THING BE DONE.
