This is not funny anymore. How did we get to this level?
It is a product of despicable and gutter governance.

Buhari has turned the safest place to live in Nigeria into a military zone . And you have to wonder if going this route will make things better or worse.

And the whole funny thing is that i heard Nigeria is looking for F-16s. grin
Who will give F-16s to savages? Not the America i know and love.
They can't even fly that plane. No brains. Isn't same dumb Airforce that was crash-landing and missfiring during the raids against bokoharm.

The Nigeria military isn't professional, from smuggling, oil bunkery and illegal importation of prostitutes from peacekeeping mission, they have no other area of expertise.

Well let them stick to brutalizing civilians. That is their level anyway.

You and your lot will end up like those who died in the civil war if your lose tongues is not cut off with immediate effect.

When did call for referendum translate to hate speeches that border of secession?
Nigeria government and your lots are lying against IPOB, while left boko haram terrorists to move around freely. With due respect, we retaliate in same measure against Nigeria government in due time.

God bless IPOB
God bless Biafra

No weapons to defend yourselves umu-Igbo? No problem!

Ever heard of molotov cocktail? Google it. It's cheap and easy to make.

USE IT!!!!

Ndi-Igbo must stop playing the victim and start reacting. It's time to take your destiny in your hands.

It's instructive, reading the comments on this opinion piece. We seem not to realize that these outlined points are virtually similar to rules for an occupied people, a people under martial law.

I stay away from posts like these, with hints of tribal and ethnic coloration. I just had to post the above.

Good Luck to us all. Time will tell.

stupid country. in a civilised country, army is always the last option, when policemen and other armed forces failed to control the situation. why deploying army to south east. is their war there or terrorism

claremont:
The military has a right to exercise its troops anywhere in the country, and every law abiding citizen of the country should support the military on its training exercises. If a ragtag militia chooses to use weapons against the military, the ragtag militia should only blame itself for whatever happens to them. I have watched a few videos of this eastern militia, and compared it to the video of the Northern shiites who blocked a national road and were dealt with by the Army, this eastern militia have been openly carrying machetes and other dangerous weapons.

What I find hard to understand is how a jobless benefit scrounger from the UK can brainwash a whole tribe of people? This simply cannot be explained by rising joblessness in the country etc. The rising joblessness affects all tribal groups, but it seems it's just one that is intent on secession by all means. If they want to secede, they should use the recognized legal route via the international courts. Nigeria isn't UK, a referendum on secession will never happen in Nigeria. Any president of Nigeria that allows a referendum to be conducted has insulted the millions of people who died in the civil war to maintain the unity of Nigeria. They would have died for nothing.

A fly that defies the words of its elders will follow the decaying corpse into the grave.

What a stupid post. People that make such posts are either benefiting from the system or are cowards. You are not benefiting from the system.

Do you enjoy your failure of your country to produce electricity in 2017 ?
Are you happy that ragtag islamic militants have disgraced Nigeria in Borno ?
Do you think it is right that your country is governed by a sick man who rarely makes public appearances ?
Are you satisfied that your currency is worthless ?
Are you satisfied that fulani herdsmen roam and kill with impunity anywhere in southern Nigeria ?
Are you impressed that the president is a rabid tribalist who practices nepotism ?
Do you not feel for the over 150 million peple in or near poverty ?
Nigeria is a failed state
Buhari is a failure as is the entire political class.

The revolution does not need your approval. Brave young men with freedom in their hearts will struggle until it is achieved and reverse the failures of the generation that fought the civil war for 'one Nigeria' and led us this past half century on a slumbering walk to nationaldisgrace

Go back to your home on a road that has pot holes to a house without running water and a room without electric power to type on a phone or second hand laptop.
Praise your masters in Abuja and Sokoto more for all they have given you. Afterall this is the life you dreamed of.

Shame on you.
