OP, everything you wrote in that brief essay is even more relevant and applicable today than when you penned it 4 yrs ago.

Unfortunately, this generation of thick-skulled Igbo youth are too far gone in their mental slavery to Kanu and his barbarism, to partake of anything meaningful, devoid of blaming northerners for everything wrong in their lives.

Since you wrote that piece, they've added the deadly element of self-sabotaging violence targeting their own people, while perfecting a Hitler-esque climate of subservience to their murderous authoritarianism, which surely spells 'banana republic' for their new state, were it ever to be realised.
