AndrewFarms:go ahead and win bro. am just trying to make a point that if we attack and score enought goal we wont need to park the bus to defend fragile 1 goal leads because we are the red devils and not garage united were buses are parked. one of my most favourite slogan of man utd is 'offending people since 1878' and not defending people since 1878. peace bro. 1 Like |

Cuteamigo1: playing only one tactics a year round could make you lose out on everything if not everything take Barça's last season as example...... something we need to learn to protect our lead more just incase we come across more attacking sides like Bayern, Barça, Madrid ET AL...... we would know how make it count |

AndrewFarms:oh my bad but i dont feel like you proved me wrong becos thier is huge connection with facts i presented you and why man utd had a horrible season in the epl last season. |

AndrewFarms:i dint say man utd should play one tactics all year round because i realise everygame is prepeaed for differently after taking into consideration the atacking and defensive power of your opponent. all am saying is that a refurbished man utd should be able to go after a second goal against a southampton side that are not on top of thier game. gabiadini their star player who could have scored a hatric against us in the final started from the bench and says alot about this southampton side and why i think the defensive game man utd played against them was an embarrassment. just so you know? where i watched this match, man utd fans got so frustrated that they were praying for southampton to equalise and that may be ebough for mourinho to get his head out of his arse. |
Re: Southampton vs Manchester United (0 - 1) On 23rd September 2017 by AndrewFarms(m): 7:32pm On Sep 23, 2017 |
Cuteamigo1: yeah Buh remember we are much more improved as a team that last season. I think we are 5/6 points better at this stage last season and secondly had we preserve those 1-nil leads that ended in draws don't you think ManUtd would have challenged for the league if not missing it..... In football you gain some and you lose some. 4 wins would have netted us 12 points Buh instead we lost 8points Buh this season we have done better at defending so I wouldn't mind some 1-nil wins for any sexy game draw no matter how beautiful we played during the draws..... did you know how many times opponents goal keeper won match of the match or save of the week against ManUtd (I don't want that happening again this season) |
Re: Southampton vs Manchester United (0 - 1) On 23rd September 2017 by Cuteamigo1(m): 7:39pm On Sep 23, 2017 |
AndrewFarms:i agree with you to some point but thats why we splashed 75 million pounds on lukaku, a proven epl striker. so why waste all that and be busy defending up and down. |
Re: Southampton vs Manchester United (0 - 1) On 23rd September 2017 by AndrewFarms(m): 7:40pm On Sep 23, 2017 |
Cuteamigo1: Yeah we should have gotten a second goal Buh the moment Herrera missed that wonderful opportunity, we were pegged and left with no option than to defend. Just as ManUtd prepared to beat the Saints, so do they also prepare to beat us, remember no team is too small to be overlooked in the EPL....... They same crystal palace that's losing today took 12pts or more from top four teams last season... so no small team is afraid to beat a top team, what usually happens is that they get overwhelmed by the top team. We overwhelmed the Saints in the first half and they saw we came back to earth, they took great advantage and wanted to overwhelm us also..... |

AndrewFarms:is that what morata and the entire chelsae team did? no is the answer. they made sure they killed the game and thats what i want to see from man utd. we need the goals bro. this defensive mentality restricted the performance of lukaku going forward to get more goals bro |
Re: Southampton vs Manchester United (0 - 1) On 23rd September 2017 by AndrewFarms(m): 8:02pm On Sep 23, 2017 |

Re: Southampton vs Manchester United (0 - 1) On 23rd September 2017 by Cuteamigo1(m): 8:02pm On Sep 23, 2017 |
AndrewFarms:i hear but i still maintain that man utd defending for almost the entire second have including lukaku and rashford was just an eyesore. |
Re: Southampton vs Manchester United (0 - 1) On 23rd September 2017 by Cuteamigo1(m): 8:04pm On Sep 23, 2017 |
AndrewFarms:we did it only because we were able to get the second goals by substituting rashford for marshal or the other way round and that led to goals being scored and that is what i expected today tooo. |

All this guys that are shouting "we need more goals from Man U", the most important thing is the 3 points abeg not the goals. What will it profit a club if it scores all the goals in the world and loses the match... |
