I tell you! But one thing I believe is that, with consistent and constant practice,using little knowledge gained from computer, it wouldnt take long before you find yourself on lane.

What should be our initial goal in the CHESS. In one word - to manage the center. He who controls the center will have very good leads for the rest of the game. The reason being that a piece posted in the center is prepared to launch an attack either directly on the king, or on the queen´s wing, which ever is the weakest. A chain is only as strong as it´s weakest link.

oh guys I am so happy I decided to challenge myself and play computer without cheating, I reasoned that what if it's human.

Guess what, I won Computer. Am so happy, I need to really train hard for chess.

( in late July- early August when our session was about to end, ) the guys I played with in my hostel were so good, the beat me easily,

Yeah so true esp your Knights, they should always be positioned at the center, unless otherwise when they have to fend off an Attack from the wings.

The way they use Queen Bishop and knights eh, if u castle, problem.

Candidate Master is so hard I use cheat for many days before I could pass , but

Master just forget it, even with cheat they will checkmate you under 5 seconds

@Rick9, if its 'Hard' then you tried but you can only boast of not cheating if you can consistently be winning it solely on your own.

My own computer chess is in levels - levels 1 - 10.

i have beaten expert without cheat but it took me days to do that. That REAL CHESS i told level 6 is hard and i sweat before i beat that level with cheat not to talk of 7,8,9,10.

That master cheat or no cheat I can't pass it, it's very hard to find someone who plays chess in Nigeria

I downloaded chess on pc chess Lv 100, its level is from 1-100. I've only checkmated level 1-4 in rating mode, that one there is no hint and undo in rating mode. Its also difficult for me to checkmate in level 5 because i really don't know the movement of the king.

king moves like the queen but limited tn one step (i mean one step to any direction). Learn to castle ur kind and root early, when u notice any suspective move from your oponent move any of ur pawn in front of ur king to free the king because when u castle a skilled player can turn it against u.
