How can you compare Hamas which is into arms struggle, which in several occasions has fired rockets and thrown bombs as well as suicide bombings with IPOB which has not fired even a single shot at anyone, but rather has conducted their activities and rallies in the most peaceful manner ever recorded by any organization championing for self determination? What IPOB is clamoring for is a simple Referendum for Biafrans to determine their fate which is a legitimate clamor!

So you think that if IPOB were to be a terrorist organization, the U.S. government would give them permission to protest knowing fully well the consequences of such, and why didn't you ask yourself why the U.S. and UN rejected a counter protest from Pro-Nigerian government protesters? Or you think you are more knowledgeable than the UN that enshrined the right of indigenous people to self determination in their Charter?

IPOB has been declared a terrorist organization by the Nigerian government, that is the current state of things. If you guys are pained, then challenge it in a court of law ( Nigerian court). The UN or US has no say in groups other countries designate as terrorist.

Terrorism is not just about carrying arms, terrorism is also about ideology. An ideology that instruct and encourages its members to violence is a terrorist organization. IPOB's supreme leader instructed his followers to kill Yoruba pastors, kill innocent Hausa Fulanis, burn down the country and even promised to cut off the head of the president. That is not different from Al-Bagdadi ( Isis leader), instructing his followers to kill Americans and Europeans using cars, trucks and bombs. Besides, he had been travelling around the world soliciting for money to buy arms to wage war on Nigeria.
If Muslim brotherhood, who once held power in Egypt can be designated terrorist organization in Egypt, why can't IPOB who advocate for using violence to achieve their political goals.
