The result of freedom of worship. Everything traditional religion should be criminalised. It's backward, murderous and counter productive. These Yoruba guys selling traditional drugs on the streets are the worst criminals under the sun. In the south east, shrines like the Okija shrine are money making ventures for some villages. They are almost government unto themselves with their threats of death to supposed offenders. These shrines use the laws of physics to perpetrate their evil and claim there are gods behind what they do. The truth will surface one day. 1 Like |

The fact is that these thing have no basis in our society and are not affiliated to any tradition. These so called ritualists dont know what they are doing, instead of going out to serve in Nollywood and build these scaring shrines for movies they just earn money from gullible people who choose to believe that their evil acts can be facilitated by some kind of charms that only make them more daring and heartless. Did the police go along with any master ritualist? How came the shrines did not protect them selves? Shame on our politicians who stoop so low to patronize these idols, this is why they continue to be blinded, and will not speak against the ills of their colleagues because they all worship the same idols and will not have the guts to expose these sort of thing. If our police move against crime at the first incident report, some things would be "stopped in the bud". Reports of ritual killings have been ages and many have been murdered. Every state in the federation should emulate this and act accordingly. |

Exactly...so unfortunate they refused to let go of cave men mentality-even the educated city dwellers. They never learn from their history. It's there in history textbooks those things doesn't work but rob you off your mind. While they sat down doing incantations and ritual with humans, the British were busy destroying them from every corner, exiled their so call deity kings and carting their people away. The world has indeed moved on and Africa has indeed refused to move forward. netjoe: |
