I see it's a general situation..
Throwback to last year when my brother had to undergo an emergency surgery.
We went to the hospital around 5-6am cos it was really severe... We got to hospital and the crazy nurses said if we dint have a registration card, they wouldn't lay a finger on him regardless of how my Bro was gritting in agony.... Good thing was my uncle owned the hospital... All we did was just put a call across to him.. If it wasn't for the severity of the issue, I would have really laughed at the way he scolded the nurses..


But I wonder why they like this tho' they should be able to see when a case is critical.... attend to it and forget all the Bleep all the documentation... Isn't saving lives the primary goal

Don't mind this complainant. If those nurses were also given an opportunity to express the own version of the story, it will shock you will notice a whole different story. Some mothers were very abusive, wicked and constantly cantabking. Who made the law that without folder, you won't see Dr is to be blame. Guess is the same doctor. Nurses were trained to follow rules and regulations given to them by the hospital management. Being angry and shouting online is never the solution. My child was bleeding from her naval and this kind of bleeding no be child's play oooooooo, my child had just lest than 1hrs to survive and we were really desperate to do anything to help her live, we rushed our baby to this government specialist hospital precisely Braitwaite memorial specialist hospital ( BMSH) because you see, I am revealing the name to the whole world and also to the authorities in the River State government to point out to them that what they have in their specialist hospital isn't human beings but witches who are so happy to see people die if not what on earth could make a trained nurse be so ruthless, heartless and without any kind of affection for bleeding and about to die child who came to be nurse and treated under the able hands of these physicians.


My people, I saw hell, this species of human had no time to attend to us and my child was slowly passing on my God Almighty, thank God Almighty for a very special doctor, the senior pediatrician who was touched by CHRIST JESUS my LORD to attend to us.. this beautiful doctor took it upon himself to attend to my baby oh for God's sake, he was very exceptional, those same nurses, came to this doctor to complain that this baby doesn't have a folder with them why is he treating her, oh my God Almighty, what could have degenerated this kind of human being to this low finish, you need to see the look on my face when those heartless nurses said such, the doctor simply reply them that they could see that this baby is passing on slowly that if this blood isn't stop from flowing through her naval that any help given after now will be zero.


He needs to do something immediately, wow, heavy defeat for witches, by God's grace he finally stopped the wicked bleeding and referred us to Kelsy Harrison Specialist hospital where we did blood transfusion and other serious medical assignment.



Thank God Almighty, my baby is stabilized, but the question remains why this nurses are so wicked minded and without Natural affection, is it that they have seen much death that they don't care anymore if another dies.?

Don't get too emotional and worked up ma. There is no witch anywhere. It is the SOP for patients to obtain card/folders before being treated

Now people are discovering about nurses' they are all the same around the world. Nurses are one of the most wicked sets of human beings on this planet. Go and research female serial killers...over 70% of them are nurses. They are stressed out, work alot and unhappy. They have also seen a lot of deaths and people in their worst shape and form, in that, when you show up, no matter how in pain you are in, they don't give a damn. A friend told me yrs back that he doesn't date nurses or women in the medical field. I couldn't understand why until I dated one a few yrs...same problem with two of them, then I knew it wasn't me bu them. I 'm speaking in generality; don't mean all nurses.

I have been reading comments almost every body is bashing nurses.
But come to think of it the only complaint I see here is that they were looking at your baby while he is bleeding. And you stated that there reason is because you don't have a card. Why did you not pay for one at least for registration and consultation. They would have attended to your baby. At least first aid.

I'm sure the person you are referring to is a Quack, for the Dr to have dared to slap her.
Nigerians aren't generally the best of people. You will see this manifest in every area of our lives, from the Leaders at the top to the Gate men.
The so called nurse was wrong and the Dr that felt he could hand out slaps as he or she likes, was also very wrong.

Not an excuse to be wicked to patients

My dear, your story is a pathetic one. But thank God, your child was saved at last. It is of a grave concern the inhumane and callous behavior being exhibited by the health workers in our Public Health Care. Many hapless citizens of this country have died as a result of their negligence. To say the least, our public health care is nothing to write home about.Everybody is a king on his own desk. No supervision, no monitoring, no proper control,no body cares, why?? Just because it is nobody's business. At the end of the month, the fat salary will always come. They even pay more attention to the places they are doing private practice. It is high time we introduced Public Private Partnership in our public health system to revamp the sector. When this happens, it will now become somebody's business and everyone must work- out his/ her salary. There will be strict supervision with proper monitoring in place. The attitude of staff will strictly be under check. The patient's would then be seen as kings, the one that pays the salary and be given the utmost possible care. Until then, our public health system will only become messier.
