I am not here to state reasons. Just my observation, every Nigerian Independence Day Celebration, Christians and Churches give more attention to Nigerian Independence than other religious bodies in Nigeria?

Christ Embassy is known for giving FREE Rhapsody of Realities Devotional in October. Many Nigerian churches especially RCCG also decorate there churches with green and white colour but I've not seen other religious body giving Nigeria Independence this honour.

My question is WHY is this so?

Well most religions are well patterned and rigidly structured and not open to change. To move out of that confinement you may actually be termed a "desecrator".
Christianity on the other hand is not rigidly patterned. It is usually open to doing things differently and that is why we have 37 million denominations or variants. Every generation of Christians are always distinctively different, past generations of Christians could be so churchminded that they care less for patriotism or entertainment. However, the 21st century Christians are having none of that, we have successfully incorporated Entertainment, patriotism into the Church. So Christianity is an ever evolving faith and there is no problem with that as long as the central message of Christianity, Jesus isn't lost amidst the fanfares.

Far better than Islam where recitation of Hate speeches rigidly focus on disbelievers is the order of worship.

Christianity revolves round Love. Islam is all Hate Filled Message except to pious Mujaheeden that owns Paradise of Wine, Women and Honey.
