this can be very annoying, I used to be like that years back, but over time, av learnt things the hard way and gotten more matured, so I don't give room for such things because I love myself more. Since then, it hasn't been so

what u should do is, stop showing them too much
love, care n attention to those guys, they may or may not come bk for u but trust me, if they come back, they will cherish you.
