As the recent Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) scandal continues to fester, a group has warned Nigerians to desist from blackmailing the minister of state for petroleum resources, Ibe Kachikwu.

The group, Accountability Vanguard said the attempt by the NNPC and some Nigerians to blackmail Kachikwu is condemnable.

The group also said the NNPC has only failed to address the issues raised by the minister in his protest letter to President Muhammadu Buhari.

There has also been criticism of President Buhari's appointments being one-sided. The Facebook page named 'APC News TV' has attempted to debunk this rumor.

Just as Buhari has pushed everything to the North, if the next President comes and try to spread things out so that at that material time he spread is balanced you use his appointments to compare to a President pursuing outright nepotism
