If you're in doubt,why would Azikiwe,Mr "One Nigeria", prefer to be Premier of western region (Yoruba land) as against that of eastern region where he came from ? Who no like better thing ? It is the Lord's doing;our eastern people shouldn't get mad at us over this.

Customs was generating £180000 which is the equivalent of £1620000 or 8.1 billion Naira in today's money.

bear in mind that this was in the earliest days of that port.

The point is the Port as a cash cow long before Nigeria existed so do not tell me it was built with Nigerian money

No doubt Lagos is a blessing to the south west and Nigeria as a whole.... Considering her wonderful geographical location and awesome weather...
But we have to thank the politicians for sabotaging all other ports in the country and making sure that all the headquarters of major oil companies are located in Lagos...

With such revenues... Eko Atlantic City is not a dream but a reality
Don't forget that dangote refinery is in the pipeline... All the crude from Niger delta will head to Lagos ..
Thanks again to the politicians for making sure that non of the refineries are working at an optimum level
