You are not making any sense at all because the south east part of Nigeria is also on " retrogression on all positive indices" which would indicate that the s.e contributes their quota to the retrogression of Nigeria. The s.e is contributing about 30% of Nigeria's problem otherwise the s.e would be a haven of infrastructural development, social justice and economic development in the midst of Nigerian backwardness but the fact that it is not manifests in the itinerant nature of people of s.e extraction.,they live and work anywhere but the s.e. For your argument to carry any weight,the south east would have to be performing excellently but it is not. Crime is endemic there,political leadership is corrupt and the population is increasing exponentially a troubling cocktail of social instability.
