But Shaw is not Classic even a bit.
He is.
What he lacks is fitness.
Don't forget how we got him

We needed that 2nd gear in the first half.

2nd half would have been more of routine practice.

Playing at a high tempo doesn't necessarily guarantee that you will score goals. You can meet an inspired goalkeeper. The opposing team may match you pace for pace, and may even be luckier than you in front of goal. Then you'll end up frustrated and you'll end up exerting yourself unnecessarily for 90 minutes. Maybe even pick up a few injuries.

We won the game through a patient approach. There are still many games to play, and we are still in four competitions.

2nd gear does not necessarily translate to higher pace.
It means more urgency.

We are too casual in our approach to games.

We need to kill off games as early as possible, if possible.

United is doing good, but with the insane amounts spent. We should be instilling fear into lesser teams.

Any ideas.
Will really love to know.

I have a feeling he might be planing either a 3-4-3 formation or he's just gonna play the way Roma did

3-4-3 is good, but do you see Smalling Lindelof and Bailey working together.
Although I believe Jones might be available.

People need to stop equating the amount spent on players to mean quality of the squad. Players in the EPL are ridiculously overpriced. It is the curse that comes with more earnings in TV rights and sponsorship. Selling clubs quote ridiculous amounts and the buying clubs don't mind paying because the money is there.

Fans should stop basing their expectations on money spent. It will only lead to unnecessarily high hopes.

I think the Benfica game was a good one. Especially the fact that we didn't even kick into 2nd gear and still had a comfortable game.

they kept attacking through the wings if you noticed
kinda like playing Sunday's formation against chelshit.....
Since Moses is injured, their right flank is a little weak and that's what United did against Roma...
they attacked Chelsea's right flank through martial and rashford.....
so I believe that's gonna be the game plan for Sunday....
Attack Chelsea at their most vulnerable position which is the right wing....
that's what Roma did...

apart from being overpriced, the EPL just got alot stronger than usual.....

anyone can beat anyone....
who expected Huddersfield to play this good....

If we are playing 3-4-3,he certainly will make the bench, as the only possible substitute, incase something goes wrong.

With the strength of the league, we should expect English teams to do well in Europe, but it's more of a hindrance.

A lot of factors are involved in quality football.
Consistency being one of them.

You can't buy a functional Ferrari and have a top driver and expect a tricycle win you in a race.
Paying exorbitant money and buying stars who were performing are two different things.

I hope we counter attack, rather than attack.
It will be more fun that way.
Lukaku should drop deep and assist the midfield.
Martial and Mykhitaryan out wide should be good.

The EPL teams in the Champions League have been consistent this season.....
Am betting all the five teams will qualify for the next round and would be a great surprise if Tottenham should top their group......
It's the dawn of a new era in the Champions League for EPL teams....

No, there is a tactic called choking the midfield, allowing the opposition players see more of the ball and hitting them on the break.

Liverpool did it by playing the ball over arsenal defence, for their speed stars to annihilate.
Chelsea plays a high line of defence. We can kill them off.

Check out the possession ratio in the attached screen shot compared to the shots on target.

liverpool twice, manutd trice, chelsea twice, arsenal once and so on
