My father is Igbo from delta state my mother is Yoruba from kwara state,
My brother married a lady from Ogun state, just because you don't see it on social media doesn't mean it does not happen.

Wen i lived with yoruba guys, they eat my food with delight but even the thought of eating their makes me want to vomit (am not being tribalistic but i cant eat ewedu or tomato and palm oil soup)
I even had one Yoruba lady asking a friend of mine to teach her delicacies.
Even though few Igbos marry yoruba girls but the food factor is a major hinderance to that

I understand Yoruba more but i speak English at home to my both parents .

Lots of Igbo guys are marrying Yoruba girls these days, especially the ones who grew up in Lagos and even Abuja sef

In my circle, it's very common for an Igbo guy to be dating, or even planning to marry a Dupe or a Bunmi.

In igbo land, there are varieties of food, and no igbo guy would love to leave those delicases,these include ofe akwu, it is a soup made from palm canel extract, Abacha(African salad) made with casaver, Nsara soup,oha soup, ugu soup, ede, guns, ngwobi,isi ewu and this include many others, and igbo men need security from the female he got married this means that if any thing happens he knows the woman to home, and that is why he goes home when he is ready to settle down.

As an Igbo i am, i pray that noting will make me marry an Igbo girl. I better go for Arewa or Yoruba.
