There were 8 at an exercise the year before (we didnt send all our grip pilots)

And SAAF has consequently confirmed 18 aircrew

Yet only 12 Gripen are being rotated as "off-duty"


And the SAAF Grip fleet flew over 800 hours in the 2012/13 financial year
