Thanks for the info cos as the time I first nailed W3a I was receiving STV 1 and BVN which I believe are from Sirius

i jus nail both ew3 nd sirius 4 on 90cm dish here in lagos.if u re using ew3 al u have 2 do is standing behind ur dish adjust ur dish a little bit 2 d rite wit dis tp 12605 v 29950.sirius user adjust urs to d left.FTa 4 life

W3a is tricky indeed,i tried 9'o clock position vertical polarisation on d frep. 12728 sr 30000 no show 4 up to 45 minutes but when i change the polarisation to h 6'0 clock position i hit green (62% quality)within a couple of minutes. I check 12605v 29950, i have 54% quality.i decided to switch the polarisations @ 3'0clock & i got 60% for 12728 v 30000 & 58% on 12605 h 29950. I had to let go of some precious stations 4 mbc(hope u guys code).

your not alone on the w3a experience. mine is on h polarity too on my motorize dish.

Yes, in another FTA forum some Kenyans claimed to have received those channels on Freq 10721 H 22000, I believe it is with 1.8m dish

Please do mean that one would have check these tp in their respective satellites or on one satellite either W3a or Sirius 4

Please gurus help me i have previously tried all the methods you guys had said about this W3a but to no success infact yesterday i even tried to track sirius 4 on 4.8e but all the channels that came out were not except 4 tv1 that displays no video/audio when i blind scan notin came out i tried to nail the bird w3a but no show i tried all the frequencies i saw no this forum(not only this thread) but no show please guys give me very comprehensive directions to go about it

Try using this TP 12728V and SR30000 I am sure you will surely hit green on this frequency in no time

@khattab008 try out dis madagaska tp 10976 v 3333 if u couldn't hit green den change d polarization to h am pretty sure u would nail d bird wit dis tip FTA 4 ever

@khattab008 Please read this carefully I hope it will sure guide you to nailing this bird note that your location matters too

TRACKING W3A MADE SIMPLE.
1. Locate a dstv dish near your area as that will give the idea of where your EAST is . NOTE that dstv is on w4/7. Start by tracking w4/7 with 11940 H 27500, put your lnb at 9 0'clock.
2. When u have tracked w4/7, hold your dish in place and input  Sirius 4 frequency 12605 V 29950 . Standing in front of your dish, Lift your dish up to face the sky and down while you move slowly to the left of dstv dish. When you get Sirius 4 hold your  dish there and input this 12728 V 30000, for w3a and bring your dish down slightly and bring it back to your right a little . Just work around Sirius 4 for w3a. The sat will turn green , then blind scan or use lyngsat to add other channels
But for those in port Harcourt try this method in opposite direction.

What i did was to rotate the ground mount dish clockwise to watch sirius and anticlockwise 2watch w3. This was possible because the ring at the base was mounted on a cross on top of very short pole. I also slack the brackets that secured the base to the crossbar.
BTW has anybody been able to combine both birds on 180cm or bigger dish on one lnb?

I've done it wit 180m, but the two birds signal will be crackin. Normally wit 90cm, if u lift your dish upwards, u'll hit sirus. Downwards will give u w3A. It is the reverse wit 180 and above. For u to hit 70% and above wit 180cm on sirus, u must slightly bend the base of your dish to your right. 90cm is the best to hit both birds wit good signal.

I've done it with 90cm too but with 180, no success.

@love4sat thanks for your reply wil try later and return to you my decoder is strong 4669x and a dish of 1.8 pan (stronger) and am currently facin 26e badr 4/6 and i stay at suleja niger state close to the f.c.t

is anybody experiencing this? I am receiving both W3a and Sirius 4 on a 90cm dish but the Sirius 4 channels are displaying no video/no audio with signal at between 65% and 72%. what is the cause for this? any idea

I rescanned the box and the tp for STV 1 and other sirius channels disappeared.

Your dish might have tilted away from Sirius towards w3. You'll need to retrack.

I do get hi nolly and 1 music channel in my w3a setup {an offset of a 1.8m dish wit nilesat as primary} and frm flysat incriptions its suppose to b in sirius4. Pls hw do i do d tweakn to add more channel 4rm Sirius4.

the best dish to use in tracking both w3a and sirus4 is the slim (medium sized) 90cm dish.
1.8m does not track it well.

With one offset lnbf you'll get[b] ALL[/b] frequencies/channels of both w3a & sirus4. The only set back is that sirus4 channels % will be btw 60-62%

(12605v29950) which is very stable & 71% on 12566H6510 while w3a will be mbc rod (64%), rts1 (63%),Tvm (80%),
record mozambique-10962H 3249(70%)

After setting w3a with mbc upto 66%- 68%, gradually press down ur 'scalar'(the offset bar or lnb holder) & check 12605v pop up. its a trick that once you get it right, fine turning is simple. I'll send the pix soon as promised- took one today but pix quality is poor.
