Ahead of the National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scheduled to hold on December 9, there are indications that some of its aggrieved members are perfecting plans to hold a parallel convention.

This move according to the PDP national publicity secretary, Prince Dayo Adeyeye was a plot aimed at creating division and rubbishing the party.

Adeyeye stated this at a press conference yesterday at the party's national secretariat in Abuja.

Although he refused to mention the names of those behind the move, he however claimed that they were working for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The intrigues surrounding the roles the party leadership and some Governors of the party were playing regarding who will emerge as the new national chairman of the party have been raising more acrimony in the camp of some Chairmanship aspirants of the party. Some of the aggrieved aspirants have already accused Makarfi of working to install his stooge as National Chairman so as to achieve his Presidential ambition with ease. The party in a statement had however denied knowledge of any Presidential ambition by its current caretaker committee chairman.

that there is still existing in the PDP the attitude of parallel conventions should be w pointer that what made the party had problems in the last administration will eventually play out.

This is how I see any statement from any PDP member or supporter confused fellows

Nigerian leaders are simply greedy

I said it before that Sheriff is not PDP problem but people ruled by emotion failed to understand. PDP can't survive, members of like minds should form a new political party. Nothing less than three chairman will emerge in various parralel convention. PDP can never allow democratic norms for leaders to emmerge.

I can assure you that they'll fight out of the convention
it can't play out well cos of personal interest, ego and lack of respect for one another of the party members
