Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar reportedly failed to impress former President Ibrahim Babangida in his quest for IBB’s blessings to enable him (Atiku) contest the 2019 Presidential election.

Atiku who recently defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) met behind closed doors with Babangida only to emerge with stone face after an hour and half.

Journalists and his supporters were on taken aback when they saw Atiku wearing a long face, an indication that all was not well.

But IBB has just one vote. For IBB himself was rejected in his bid to come back, and rejected in his state when he wanted to install his son as governor.
