Firstky the plant though in the hinterland is world class. You are ways filled with envy and bitterness, that's why you are always here deceiving yourself. Imo state is the worst and most backward state in southern Nigeria but you are not worried. Owerri is a glorified rural area littered with dilapidated roads and filthy environment but you are not worried. Most rich imo indigenes consider imo state as a useless worthless backward state and that's why they usually take their investments to Onitsha, Lagos or PH. Imo state has no manufacturing or any reasonable company to create employment for the teaming poor people in imo state but you are not worried, but you are always fixated on Anambra the most progressive and most developed state in igboland.

Despacito1:

Just imagine if that place were to be Lagos or Portharcourt, you will see massive infrastructures, beautiful environs like that of shell, well tared ground and atmosphere. Now because it's in Anyamelum LGA his home town, see how a gas plant is looking like a fillings station. Anambra man build things according the mentality of "here is village", let's do it anyhow, take the profit to build and develop headquarters in Lagos. I have seen how other huge projects they have executed looks like in other states, this one looks like a joke.

Shut up your smelling mouth there, you are only being envious and bitter because your backward useless worthless shithole imo state has nothing to show. Go and see massive beautiful company built by Orange drugs in Onitsha, I wish he built it in his home state of imo that lacks investments

Despacito1:

Shatap! I want the best thing to be done. Can't you see nestoil farm in Lagos and I wished he did it in his home town state.

The envy and bitterness of these outsiders is too much. They are so bitter and envious because Anambra is the best and most developed state in igboland.

Oga, just getat from this thread please.
What kind of hatred and evil is this

Can’t you see that it’s still under construction

Why did hate Anambra state/people so much??

AnambraIstson has been praising and posting gas plant been developed at imo state and every Igbo person is happy about that, why is it that you can’t like good things in your sister state
Your heart is really evil, you need to stop commenting here please

The state of the gas will determine its PRIMARY usage. We have LPG, CNG, LNG

I get where you’re coming from….esp’ when we see the beautiful corporate headquarters they tend to build in other regions! But you should also remember their hands are tied…..they have to operate within the parameters determined by the current Nigerian political-economy which sees political and economic power revolving around both Lagos and Abuja! Also, this commendable aku luo uno project initiated by Ibeto is still in its infancy stage. I’m sure when the business fully gets off the ground, that they would take care of all the aesthetics you were referring to.

Nnewi, One Of The Fastest Growing Cities In The World || Areas Experiencing The Most Rapid Growth

So many international organisations have listed Nnewi, a city in Anambra state, Nigeria as one of the fastest growing cities in the world, in the last three years. This came as a shock to so many, especially those who have always known Nnewi to be just for trading and manufacturing.

However, anyone that knows Nnewi very well will attest to the fact that the economy of Nnewi have significantly been diversifying from Commerce and manufacturing, as so many other sectors are now experiencing rapid growth, and receiving serious attention by investors. This has also led to a tremendous increase in the population of the city.

Some of the sectors that have been contributing to this rapid growth include;

1. Entertainment and hospitality:
Within the last four years, Nnewi has been experiencing a massive boom in the hospitality sector. So many booming lounges like Evo lounge, Panda gardens, Everfresh eatery, B. Robinson coffee house,CD 195 etc have set up in Nnewi.
Also, more than 15 hotels have opened within this period, with over 30 hotels still under construction. That's definitely a huge one for the hospitality of the city.
Also, two big entertainment centres are fast getting completed in the city of Nnewi. One of the entertainment centres, Komworld will have the biggest cinema houses in West Africa on completion. It will also have games facilities for children and adults, lounges, cafes, film production and distribution studios etc.
Very massive opportunities are about to be created for creatives and entertainers in Nnewi, Anambra, South East and beyond.
The other entertainment/media centre opening in Nnewi is owned by Authority media house, and it's said to be coming with a TV station, radio station, cinema houses, theatres and lots more.
With these, Nnewi is bracing up to become the entertainment hub of the region.

2.Health Sector :
Health is another sector that's experiencing massive growth in Nnewi at the moment. The Permanent site of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching hospital, Nnewi is fast getting completed, to be able to contain all the facilities the temporary site could not accommodate The Chief Medical Director(CMD) said that when the permanent site is completed, it will help position Nnewi as the medical hub of South-East, Nigeria.
Also in the health sector is Premium Kidney Hospital which was opened last year for kidney related issues. The state of the art Accunalysis diagnostic centre and Accu Care Foundation Hospital were also opened in the last four years.

3.Entreprenuership :
In the last fews years, so many people have relocated from different parts of Nigeria to Nnewi and majority of them go into entrepreneurship. SMEs are springing up in every part of the city. This is one of the reasons finding a shop or an outlet in the city is very difficult, as most new shops under construction is being taken up even before it's completed.

4.Industrialization :
The industrial sector in Nnewi continues to get attention. In the last four years, Innoson has expanded his vehicle manufacturing factory, and he's currently building another very massive Vehicle manufacturing factory in Nnewi, which will become the biggest on completion.Chicason group also established a recyling plant in the city.
Also in the industrial sector is Jolly jolly noodles manufacturing company that was opened in the year 2020.

Nnewi's success and growth has always been like a miracle to many, as Nnewi is in the inner part of the state far from the two major interstate highways that passed the state and also the fact that the city has received little or no help from the government when it comes to infrastructural development.

Let's look out for Nnewi, as the city is definitely changing to become what everybody will be proud of.

This is not true, Seplat projected to complete the project in 4th quarter of this year. The usage of the one Seplat is building is totally different from this, it's more complex.

Ignore that guy! I wanted to reply him but thought otherwise so as not to derail the thread. He noticed the IPOB he loves to hate hasn’t been blamed for anything in a while so he decided to use your post to get a quick dig in! The north has all manner of insecurities going on…even as we speak, but that hasn’t stopped ongoing or planned multi-billion dollar federal-enabled projects in the region like gas pipelines; railway lines to Maradi; and hydroelectric dams!

Thanks to President Buhari if not, Johnathan played politics with this same bridge. I pray Soludo helps the federal to maintain it sanity before it turns to another Upper iweka. Political, religious Postals, signboards, should not deface the new bridge. Hoodlums and Agberos should not turn it to their hideout. At list that's the only thing they claimed they have given to SE. Is this bridge not supposed to be Transnational road bridge connecting the north to South, we've made it to be like it's an igbo bridge begging each successive Government to build it. Now they've tolled it to be paid by igbo's as the most user's, others places weren't so.. We need to engage in politics and leave succession for now, lets develop igboland with what we're getting now to compete with the rest now or never. The present Regional government won't favour us all without the Old Eastern region.

Stop deceiving yourself here, face your backward useless worthless shithole imo state.

Anambra is moving forward with the best infrastructures in igboland. Though I am from imo state but I stand for truth. Imo is a failed state and we should do something fast to get it on good pedestal like Anambra.

Upper Iweka is a beauty to behold in terms of decent roads, interchanges, green, flowers, lights, etc. It is actually more beautiful than any location in Owerri. So the new Obosi interchange will not be different.

Imo state is lacking on critical infrastructures, this is despite the state being in APC for almost 10yrs. But Anambra that's not in the ruling party is getting all the attention from the centre.

Imo is a failed state that must be rescued by either Labour Party or APGA.

Anambra and Abia used to compete over 1st and 2nd. Abia has been knocked out of the top ten, while Anambra has dropped to the 3rd position. Despite the high literacy in Imo, it is not on the top ten of the best results. Sokoto and Nasarawa have moved into the top ten league.

The world is spherical. If you snooze, others overtake you.

I wonder what Uzondinma is doing in Imo. Imo suppose dey top ten.

The state government should first designate a special industrial zone in Anambra West and Ogbaru LGA. These lands should be gazette by the state house of Assembly so that only industries are allowed within the special industrial zones.

Then work with the company to extend gas pipelines into the special industrial zones. The private sector will do the rest.
