This is obviously a scam... Ask yourself this question - Why would a hotel in the US go through the trouble of 'importing' a low level staff when the country is awash with migrants who have the skills to do this job? 3 Likes |

It is that your $250 that they need, paybit and you will not here anything again. Be wise. You can also check with the embassy though. |

EsotericMonk: They asked her to pay money? They used unofficial English in the correspondences? What work permit class did they use and how long did it take? You guys should stop these dangerous oversimplification of things. The US is awash with labour for low paying jobs. Your gf must be highly skilled in something to have gotten the job and I am sure she did not receive this kind of low - quality letter. 3 Likes |

pimper24:They won't force the money out. I would advice him to follow up, if he thinks the application is genuine. But don't pay any money if you can't get your hands on any of those things mentioned. I mean see and feel the visa, emploment whatever, and the rest. Don't release any kobo, till you are convinced. A scam is successful only when your money is lost. |

Re: My Nephew Got This Message From A Job He Applied For In The US From Nigeria by dominique(f): 9:11am On Dec 30, 2017 |
EsotericMonk: The bad English was the first red flag, then I got to part where applicant was asked to pay $250 dollars to receive his visa and work permit, that pretty much gave them away. They know how desperate Nigerians are to flee their country and they won't mind parting with cash to achieve that dream. 1 Like |
