Same GDP numbers produced by PDP are being used by this present government to borrow from IMF, World Bank, China, and Intl agencies? Same GDP numbers are being bandied about by governors to highlight their liquidity and solvency positions when soliciting for intl loans and assistance? Same GPD bandied about by govt officials to woo foreign investors? How can a government that generated 0MW be expecting private sectors to manufacture cars? They keep talking as if Nigeria was heaven in 1999. Let me remind you all, in 1998, Abacha was in power and Abdulsalam took over and handed over to OBJ in 1999. This narrative of 16 years of destruction by PDP has to be to the sleaziest story ever told to keep us distracted. If that were to be true, why did GMB import PDP renegades like Amechi, Ngige, Atiku, Audu Ogbe.etc into his cabinet and circle? Want to go back to 1999? In 1999, Naija had 500k telephone lines, but had close to 100m lines in 2015 In 1999, Naija GDP was about $299bn, but was over $500bn in 2015 In 1999 , nationL minimum wage act pegged minimum at N250/per month, but today, it is N18k. 1999, no Naija bank offered ATM cards nor had ATMs, but today they're at all nooks and crannies. 1999, No EFCC, and ICPC, but today PMB is using these agencies! 1999, foreign reserve was around $3bn, but in 2015, it was around $30bn with addition of $bn in ECA. 1999, GPD per capita was less than $1000, but in 2015, it around $3k I definitely do not want to go back to 1999 and would want this govt to show me how it can better the record of PDP.. PDP didn't make Naija paradise, but APC must produce at least 30% of these records in its 4 years in order to be on track to best PDP's record, but so far it has not started. Blaming is no plan and inaction is an action!! 1 Like 2 Shares |

rottennaija:u arnt a civil servant, y r u fighting unjust battle that u wont benefit? Ikpa its on record udom isnt owing any akwaibom state workers either salaries or pension. He has paid up to date......u wont hear him ,ake noise like other state governors for paying salaries cos it is not an achievement. It is also on record that when he came in, within his first 100days in office he cleared backlog of gratuities, pensions n other emoluments spanning 10yrs. I beleive by now he should hv cleared all the arrears n gratuities that remained. The only sector having issues is the local govt, the last time i checked udom is not a local govt chairman.but i knw they have paid salaries n pensions up to date. Just gratuity that they r owing. Am talking based on facts cos i have people who were affected by it. So if someone is owing u from these two sectors go after them. 1 Like |

yaki84: which record? is it the record of political campaign or the state civil service record? it is either you have been fed lies or you are helping spread it. You cannot even see it from your shifting stands. Udom has not cleared any backlog of salaries or pension. Udom even stop gratuities for civil servant. Mrs Man, stop talking or lying to people, although i know it is what you are paid to do, go and ask civil servant. Enter the state secretariat, enter governor's office, ask questions before you come here to defend falsehood. Now, civil servant are not the ineffective, good for nothing, greedy set of door nothing people anymore. Whatever we sow, wether willingly or unwillingly, we will reap. Shey Udom is an Elder right? He knows very well that lying is a serious sin before God? |

If I come to you and tell you I have a drug that can cure all deseases for #1m. If you pay for it, who's the fool? 2 Likes |

khadaffi:Believe me, you're more than foolish because of your fixation on results or fulfilment of the campaign promises and not wanting to take into consideration the factors which might have changed between then and now, and which are likely to affect the campaign promises. Trust me, you're more than foolish. |

khadaffi: bkool7:Don't mind that fool. If price of crude oil was 80 dollars per barrel when the promises were being made and it fell to 28 dollars per barrel when power changed hands. It makes sense for all those who have put their hope on the new government to exercise patient so that the new government can look for alternatives way to generate income and possibly rise in the price of crude oil. But this dude was like: I'm not concerned about what you meant on ground, just fulfill your campaign promises. What da heck! As if he voted for Buhari/APC. Mtcheeeew! 1 Like |

Ovamboland: That's exactly what I am saying.. The closer a refinery is to the product it refines reduces cost.. And since the refineries would be closer to the ports, it becomes easier to export excess crude oil for foreign exchange purposes.. |

Mister zombie, i will not join issues with someone whose brains have been swept away by the demonic broom. Moreso i dnt have anything to gain from trying to make people knw the truth abt what is happening in d state. U can chose to wallow n swim on ur lies, it wont change any fact that is on ground. |

maasoap: ""so that the new government can look for alternatives way to generate income and possibly rise in the price of crude"" Wait oo bros, It's good that u personally want to deceive ur self, But it's evil to deceive n confuse other Nigerians. Since May 2015, bubu goverment aren't looking for ways to generate more income, Rather they have spent over 40 million naira searching for the same crude oil that APC n their online supporters said they want to diversify from. |

progress69:Your encaphalon is incapable of having a logically and analytically driven mind to infer the following: 1: FG and governors had N100 in the bank as monthly allocations 2: FG and Governors shared those monthly allocations 3: FG and governors had N50 in the bank as ECA 4: FG and governors shared ECA.. 52:48% 5: Governor came back to FG crying for bailout and FG bailed them with FG’s part of 52% it had collected and saved. 6: FG doesnt owe governors!! That is why they were bailed out, because they collected monthly allocations and ECA and refused to pay workers. |

#copied *He is 31 years old* Austria today December 18, 2017 made history by electing the world's youngest president who is 31 years old. His name is Sebastian Kurz, he is just 31 years old. Before today's election, he was the country's foreign minister. While our youths are contented with being ass lickers, praise singers and Special assistants on social media in Nigeria, youths else where are disrupting the status quo, pushing for innovation, changing the narrative and pushing for the new frontier. From Facebook to Snapchat and Taxify, these tech giants were founded by millennials who are youths. Mark Zukerberg is just 32 years old and the youngest billionaire in the world. The bar has been raised in Austria that elected a 31 years old man as its leader. Joseph & David in the Bible mounted the throne at about age 30. A 31 years old man in Nigeria is probably in his parents house, unemployed and broke, eating free food and not bothered. The 31 old Nigerian man is feeling big supporting politicians (who directly or indirectly put us in the mess we are in) on Facebook without seeing the nexus between the failed leadership and present unemployment predicament. I weep for our youths many of whom are wasting away forgetting that time waits for no one. The condition in Nigeria is not helping matters though and then my generation is not ready to push for change. Those who have bank jobs think they are on top of the world, forgetting that the owners of the banks were Billionaires at their age. The women get married and drive their husband's cars and think they have arrived. I ask myself and other young people reading this, what are you doing with your life? Are you happy with the way you are at the moment? What are you doing to push for change? I wish you a Thought Provoking New Year #Edited https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sebastian_Kurz |
