Ola Ajayi Ibadan — Leader of the Hausa Community, Sarkin Hausawa of Ibadan land, Alhaji Ahmed Zungeru has disclosed that there are over 10 million northerners living in the South West warning those working against the peace of the country to have a rethink.

He said this at the weekend during the installation of six new lesser chiefs under the authority and leadership of Sarkin Hausawa in Ibadan. He advised his kinsmen to live in peace wherever they reside in the region.

While calling on Nigerians to support the Federal Government in the war against insurgency, he enjoined his subjects to always engage in activities that would promote peace a d tranquillity in the zone and the country at large.

He commended President Muhammadu for his efforts at decimating Boko Haram insurgents adding that “we need no one to reveal to us the sorry situation of security in Nigeria occasioned by the Boko Haram menace before the present administration came on board, crushing them through the relentless efforts of the Armed Forces.” According to him, Nigerians should continue to do things that could promote peace, harmony and peaceful coexistence in the country.
