We can blame these fellow for what they have done wrong. But most of us don't understand what it takes to lead the most populous, most divided, most tribalistic, most religious, most corrupt, most backward nation called NIGERIA. You can be the best Governor in your state, but that cannot make you the best President. As you may be trying hard to please everyone, some people are out there trying to pull you down just to have a point. the question now is..........WHO IS THE FUTURE PRESIDENT? WHAT IS THE BEST POLITICAL PARTY IN NIGERIA? WHICH SET OF PEOPLE WILL BE UNDER THE SUN TO CAST THEIR VOTE COME 2019? We all rant here and on the election day we all stay indoors. ALL WE NEED IS BETTER INSTITUTION.....put a dullard as the president, he will perform. GOD BLESS NIGERIA!!! 2 Likes |

On the one hand, I agree that Buhari wasn't the best choice for them to have backed in 2015. On the other hand, neither was Jonathan. If Jonathan runs again today, I still wouldn't vote for him. At that point, only those two (Jonathan and Buhari) had any realistic chance of winning the election. Those guys simply went with who was, at the time, the lesser evil. Unfortunately, as it turns out, the lesser evil is just as bad as the other evil. 2019 is around the corner and yet, more credible politicians aren't positioning themselves to have a good shot at winning the presidential elections. Instead, it's the same old recycled faces and names that are making the best moves. It's just unfortunate that Nigeria hasn't gotten to the level where an outsider can run and win like what happened in France. In 2019 again, it's looking like Nigerians will end up voting what seems like the lesser of two evils instead of the best option. Sad. 3 Likes |

For the afore-mentioned idiots to have campaigned, canvassed and voted for a dead brain who does not even know when he was born, shows that their education was a waste. There's a difference between being intelligent and being educated. These people are educated but they are fools. 3 Likes |

4Play: I beg to differ. The question is: Why would people vote for a candidate they rejected in three previous attempts in lieu of an incumbent President? 2015 was a matter of anyone but GEJ. There is no guarantee that any candidate will be the saviour. The votes were the voice of the masses. All these debates about PMB vs GEJ show that Nigerians are destined to remain aloof. A serious nation would have embarked on a soul-searching meditation/assessment to figure out why the likes of GEJ and PMB were their only main choices. There will be little hope for Nigeria when Nigerians start comparing good vs. evil instead of this nauseating mediocre vs. mediocre comparisons that litter the space. Things are worse now than they were under GEJ. But that doesn't mean that GEJ's tenure is the benchmark. People bought into "change" because they wanted something good. Although their hopes and aspirations were quashed by the incompetent Buhari's administration, it does not negate the fact that Jonathan was equally as horrible a leader as it could get. Nigeria has never had a good leader. That's all. / 4 Likes |

Forget about anyone selling an imaginative future that is non existent. Never followed any of these guys on social media until recently-I think, one of them now. Folks should stop crying foul about 2015 election, which obviously presented two options. A & B- the polity was structured that way! Just tired of reading Tinubu did this,Omojuwa did that, to influence voters. Utter rubbish! 1 Like |

Monimatic: Omojuwa is Very immature. Infact, he has a fish brain. If you disagree with him on a particular issue, instead of coming forward with constructive and reasonable views and points, he will resort to abuses, insults and blocks the person. I’ve never seen someone so childish in actions. 2 Likes |

See no one influenced anyone. I, alongside millions of Nigerians were willing to boot out the Jonathan Administration because what we see today actually began to deteriorate under Jonathan's administration. We all bought into Buhari and APC's manifesto for Change. We did just that and changed the PDP government in power. Now 3 years down the line, things have gone from bad to worse, we will change the Change again to someone and something else. If our votes counted during the last elections, I see no reason why it wouldn't count in 2019. All these political parties and politicians are liars. It is how it is all over the world. The crux of the matter is that our votes now count. Let's make it count again in 2019. 3 Likes |

I have long realised that ours is a country where people use emotion, rather than logic. Our education system too has not helped, rather than help people think, it turns them into zombies. in most of our universities what makes you get big mark is your ability to memorise your lecturers' note. Whatever your teachers give you, you chew and regurgitate it and you have your mark. No need to digest anything. It is our way of life and it reflects in everything we do. In the build up to last election, what particularly caught my attention is one of Tinubu's campaign statement, talking about Buhari's certificate saga, Tinubu went ahead and said: 'Certificate or no certificate; qualified or no qualified, Buhari must be president'. I was taken aback that even those who spent years in school pursuing qualifications and many professionals didn't see anything wrong with that statement. Why should they now complain about Buhari's incompetence? That was never a subject for discussion during the build up to 2015 election. Greed, prejudice, hate, etc are what drive most of our political discourse. |

GEJ vs Buhari? Buhari all the way. Why? At that time, any one, tested or not, was a better option than GEJ. It is a lesson to all presidents that incumbency is not invincibility. Let the cycle continue. You mess up, you get lost. |
