Enugu state is a no go area for any jihadists -colony, in the name of cattle-colony. Gov. Ugwuanyi, i know you 're a true son of your father, and 'll never be part of such foolishness. even at that, we 're watching you closely. if you accept that, you 've killed your political career in enugu-state.
Na so he should not try it closely watching

Imagine o, 100 billion naira was given to the governors to stem the tide of fulani/ farmer clashes and nothing was done, assuming the money was used for its purposes all this killings would have been a thing of the past, I even heard the former Benue governor was the head of the committee, so the money has gone down the drain, they have to be probed.

yesoooo. sis, we 're watching him serious. if only nigerians read the history of the jihadists, they 'll know that the jihadists use subtle penetration to subdue a difficult terrain. after penetration the rest 'll be history.

Man made law. We are independent and any law can be overturned. Unless we are slaves who are helplessly held captives. We do not have to accept things as if we are dummies or mentally challenged people. Those in power hope we never wake up to our powers as a group. Politics is mind game. The more ignorant the people, the easier they can be manipulated.
...that law can't be overturned and yes all law of the land are man made if not someone one day will just shoot you and walk free....and the people that can overturn that law is still the gov not you or others.. So since u want to affect things start deciding a career in politics

“We won’t come to a state, take land and give Fulani or Hausa or Itsekiri or Idoma or Tiv and say this area has been seized and given to an ethnic group. That’s not the idea but we’ll also tell the herdsmen: ‘If you are passing through a state, you can only go to the colony and stay there, feed your cattle and, when you are moving off, agro -rangers will follow you and make sure you don’t destroy anybody’s farm.'”
The statement above shows how sloppy, dangerous and impracticable the scheme would turn out. Hope the agro rangers would carry AK 47 or rocket launchers as they move around monitoring the herdsmen. The policy only seek to preserve nomadism.

Ok

When your paymasters say something utterly stvpid, you just type "Ok" because you don't overtly want to show that in your heart, they are full of shiit. Neither can you openly critic their harebrained ideas and utterances because your monthly stipend is very important to you.
How much is your integrity and common sense worth? That is, if you still have any left. You are in a pitiful situation, like choosing between a fermented plate of eba or a serving of decomposed beans.

Read this, their plan is not grazing:
This is why history must be taught in our schools. Those who neglect History are bound to repeat the mistakes of the past. Please read below and and learn. BEWARNED!!!!!!!

The Gross influx of Fulani herdsmen presently and now calls for the sharing of this history.
By John TAll JUKUNS SHOULD READ THIS.

The story is told of how King Yunfa, the Hausa Sarki in Gobir (now called Sokoto) hosted a Fulani immigrant called Usman Dan Fodiyo and his group in February 1804, as a result of this and since 1808 the whole of the northern region lost its kingdoms and were replaced by Fulani emirates.

King Yunfa is said to have been killed in 1808 and the Fulani warrior (Usman Dan Fodiyo) established Sokoto caliphate, making himself Sultan.

Gradually, other Hausa kingdoms were pillaged and taken over by the Fulani emirs. The ethnic groups in the core north were the first victims of Fulani imperialism, a venture that occurred because the people were given access to grazing land as a result of the hospitality of the hosts.

They however failed to overrun the Bornu and Jukun kingdoms , so the Shehu of Bornu and Aku Uka remains paramount till today!

The Afonja dynasty compromised by allowing a Fulani warrior known as Janta Alimi to settle in Ilorin, the Fulani guerrillas killed Afonja in 1824

And Ilorin, a Yoruba town under the Oyo empire, fell into Fulani hands, becoming an emirate under Sokoto caliphate till today! Even the attempts of the O'odua People's Congress (OPC) to revert to status quo ante and crown an Onilorin of Ilorin became an exercise in futility.

The Yoruba warriors got wise and defeated the Fulani jihadists in Osogbo in 1840, if this didn't happen there would most likely have been Fulani "emirs" as rulers in Oyo Alaafin, Ibadan, Owo, Osogbo, Ede, Ado, and Igede Ekiti today!

If the Bini Kingdom did not fight and repel the jihadists, they would have penetrated the Edo/Delta region beyond the present day Edo North Senatorial District which gave in and allowed the jihadists to overrun & islamize them.

Along with some ignorant folk most of them are now angling for grazing areas and a corridor through the entire federation. These grazing areas will in future become Fulani settlements, later commmunities and finally local government areas with elected officials.
If you think I am being alarmist look towards the once beautiful and serene Middle Belt state of Plateau.

The exact same thing happened in Jos.

Therefore, it will not be farfetched to conclude that the Fulani herdsmen are pawns in an agenda to overrun all towns in Nigeria! So that we will have emirs in Owerri, Enugu, Benin, Agatu,Wukari, Abeokuta and other towns where FG creates "grazing reserves" for Fulani herdsmen!

If Yunfa didn't accommodate Fodio and his warlike immigrants from Futatoro, Hausa sarkis would be ruling today in the north!

And if Afonja didn't conspire with Alimi, a Yoruba kingdom would not have been ruled by Alimi's offspring till today!

It is a subtle continuation of the 1804 Fulani jihad by the fully-armed and protected Fulani herdsmen with an age-old agenda to overrun and Islamize the whole of Nigeria very quickly.

I will end this with what someone rightly said- "The grazing bill is not an attempt to solve the problem, it's a subterfuge to progress the agenda"

It's an age-old political strategy really- ..create a problem, come up with a "solution" that advances the cause, and then give it a legal backing.
Make it look like a win-win situation.

Be as wise as serpents....

Spread this message for people to be aware.

this policy further reveals how dull and unimaginative our leaders are, so if herdmen are moving across a state what will the cattle be eating before they get to the colony or are they going to establish it in every locality? states have different local govt and it can take days to trek from one local govt to another. this is just a subtle policy to help the Fulani plant a foothold on their local communities and it should be resisted vehemently by all.

If it is true, Edo state will most likely be one of them.

Unfortunately you gave no reason why you so believe.
In addition, first of all you are not from Edo State or else you could not have missed the State Governor's TV interview in which he declared that the if he should allocate any part of Edo State land to Fulani Herdsmen then he will have no moral justification not to do same for those doing poultry, piggery, snailery, and even planting of crops.
You perhaps were not in the country when the Edo State House of Assembly conducted a public hearing on cattle colonies and grazing reserves with the State's Attorney General, speaking on behalf of the Governor, declaring that the executive arm of the state's government dissociates itself from any such idea.
The biggest irony in this comment of yours is that you forgot to mention Bayelsa to which concrete evidence actually points as definitely going to be one of them going by the fact that the governor, Seriake Dickson, has since last year, officially approved and implemented the allocation of 1,200 hectares of Bayelsa lands as grazing reserve for Fulani Herdsmen, and in addition sponsored thugs to beat up and fatally injure Annkio Briggs and her supporters for daring to stage a demonstration against him over that decision.
The truth remains that persons like you from the SE are always blinded by the pain that Edo State is an APC state in the SS yet you don't feel the same pain that Okorocha of your SE is in APC. This is shameless hypocrisy.

The decision to keep PDP away from Edo State Government House predates the coming of APC and has nothing to do with current political sentiments of North vs South. It is a statement against the bitter experience of the people under PDP's 8 year crushing misrule of the State Lucky Igbinedion and others like Anenih, Ogiadome, etc. If your state has been so unlucky to have had Lucky Igbinedion as governor beginning from 1999 to 2007 you would have hated PDP more than the average Edo person.
So go and criticize Bayelsa which has already made 1,200 hectares available for cattle colony and leave Edo State out of your envy.

look at Nigeria map. you will know that no igbo south east and south south should be among this devilish colony. they need to upgrade to ranches. we are eating infected and contaminated animals.

look the map

Niger State alone has land mass of SE and SS combined.

Yet, not much people live there. Sokoto, Kebbi, Kano,Jugawa,Katsina and many others have massive uncultivated landmass. The FG should develop those open areas and leave places where families are already doing juju for an inch of land alone.

Unless of course this is a tactics to annex those places gradually using this smokescreen of cattle colonies.

My reading experience NL shows me that only SE members have this paranoia against Edo State for no concrete reason other than the State being controlled by APC.
Also, only SE guys have this trademark of overlooking the actual missteps of the other PDP controlled states of the SS but try to crucify Edo for imaginary missteps.
If not, how come you could vision Edo giving in to the cattle colony yet could not see the Bayelsa which has actually done so in the SS with the governor sponsoring violent attacks on those who disagreed with him?
How would Nigerians and indeed any individual not be touchy in the face of a very transparent lie being hanged on his neck?
