Chief Olu Falae, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation on Sunday explained why arsonists suspected to be Fulani herdsmen burnt his farmland at Imafon in Akure South Local government area of Ondo state

The retired top civil servant said such deliberate setting of farms on fire is done by herdsmen every year so that they can get food for their cattle.

He said, “They burnt the farm so that in the next few days, fresh grass will spring up which their cattle will later feed on. This is what the Fulani herdsmen do every year. The oil palm plantation was affected as well as some parts of the yam and cassava plantations”

“As I speak to you, the farm is burning. I had to call the commissioner of police, Gbenga Adeyanju who detailed the Akure Area Commander to go with my Personal Assistant and Farm Manager to the farm.” Falae said.

Falae also said Federal Government’s bid to establish cattle colonies would not be allowed in the South west.

” This is not about politics but the future of our people. We will resist any attempt to introduce any cattle colonies”

If Nigerians ever made the same mistake they made in 2015 to give this buhari another four years Nigerians who aren't Fulaniherdsmen will surely go extinct.

I think you should know that pple are making it no matter how hard it is. Why don't you pray to God to your own portion of goodness easy instead of crying foul. Nigerians would repeat the same mistake if proper care is not taken.
If only you can reason further you would know this man really tried, but your sentiments would not allow you to do so

This kin explanation dey fall hand no be small who dem Fulani dem obtain approval to burn another mans land. Abi na shared ownership e be? The narrative is that this people just take law into their hands and do as they please in other peoples land. I think the yorubas must re-strategize to first defend home land (Yoruba full fledged army) and come up with alternative ranching to be run and owned by Yorubas(omoluabi) before these people must then be chucked out by military escort from Yoruba land in its entirety we simply don't need these people in our future plans.

This is very good development. The Yoruba people were insulting the IPOB for standing up to Hausa/Fulani oppression and that the country should be restructured. Let them feel the heat of what they were promoting. What goes around comes around!

These guys do this with assurances from the highest authorities.

Cant imagine the boldness i will have to go to another tribe or land and start burning their farms.

Imagine such boldness my brother. Person give fulani land for free to graze their cattle, farm their food and also to set up their homes......

Then fulani will turn around to kill the host n burn the farmlands of his hosts.

The above isn't my major wahala, My problem is that some educated Nigerians are saying that giving our ancestral land to fulani people permanently will solve the problem.

If that is what the God you claim to serve has taught you, I think you should check yourself. You'll always have a reason to regret and loss once you put your hope in human being. Nigerians made a mistake as seeing Buhari has the Messiah not God. Buhari is a sincere human being but we're been punished by God cos we're shifting the attributes of God Almighty to human being. Therefore, we would always have problems.
let me tell you, your hatred can not bring an harm to Buhari take it or leave it.
I know you hate muslims, you're just trying to present it like its Buhari you hate.

These madness is really appalling I swear, do these people wanna say there are no grasses in the North?I had my secondary education in Niger state, the biggest state in Nigeria, the amount of grasses I cut from JSS1 to SS1 can feed herd of cattles times 2 if I have to hay them?why do they bring their cows to south for grazing?is there not enough grasses in the north and very large arears wide enough for pastoring?well,my thinking is that's theticks they use to aquire other peoples indigenous lands.Yoruba erunu, ero nu gidi gan,,,why dnt people just pack their cows and sell to us if they actually mean business, then we would create our own Ranch to manage them until they reach the Abbattior?Yorubas be wise o.
