While Nigeria was distracted by Obasanjo's long rambling essay, armed Irigwe ethnic militia were at work in Miango, Bassa LGA of Plateau state. In pictures; two herd boys Idris Musa and Anas Zakariyya murdered in cold blood while their cows were mowed in a senseless orgy of violence. Similar thing happened in Miango a few months ago, the attack on Fulani went unreported, but the reprisal attack went viral for weeks.

This where you will truly know whether some people have the fear of God or not. Justice should be indiscriminate. Looking at those gory pictures and names of commentators, I haven't seen CAN, chukwuemekas, Felicia's, Atinukes, Ogheneros, Basseys, Nkechis here. This is where we have issues. Can we blame our choices in an innocent leader who's trying hard to bring sanity to us yet some of us choose the other way round? In my publication Las week, I made it emphatically clear that yes, the Fulani are some how primitive, tough, but retaliatory. Mostly what we see is retaliatory, reaction to an action. Yes, they are brutal, yes some rob or kidnap now on high ways, but the conflict we are witnessing, most of them are reaction to action. Before now, they didn't have voice, if anything happens to them, they waited for a while then retaliate whenever they feel they can, but might be on a wrong target. We should fear God, we should be honest and just in our assessment and judgement on issues of national interest.
Both the Fulani and some so called host communities are guilty.

In war, whichever side may call itself the Victor, there are no winners, but all are losers.

Peace is the way of life.

When marauding Fulanis attack you run back to your cave only to emerge when the victims fight back.

Cattle is a cultural thing to the Fulani Man, they are a symbol of wealth and a source of pride, and a person's entire life revolves around the herds.

To a real Fulani, any pursuit other than a pastoral one, specifically the herding of cattle, is regarded as demeaning to themselves and insulting to Fula culture. Even sex, colour of the cattle and where they graze is ritually significant,

To a Fulani Man, cattle are a major sign of wealth, and are exchanged between a groom and his bride's family as a symbol of their bond (bridewealth). Essentially, their social use is to create or strengthen ties and loyalties.

Without Cattle, a Fulani Man is Mr, nobody, a outcast and a failure to the family. The Minority tribes in the NC, are aware of this, they still attack and rustle their cows. We the Fulani by our nature will always see an attack against our source of survival as an attack on our lives. This belief, understandly is cruel, because to me, no amount of herds of cattle can ever equate to the life of a single human being.

This is one reason why we should support any initiative, whether colony, protectorate, ranching, or whatever as long as its going to stop this cycle of madness.

The media will continue to remain silent on such attacks but will go to all extremes in sensationalising Fulani reprisals to earlier attacks on them; while jingoistic politicians will continue to make capital out of it in order to score cheap political points as regional/ethnic local champions so as to bring down the Buhari govt - even if it means causing more disunity and hatred among Nigerians.

You did not complete the culture aspect.

Cattle herding , depriving other people of the sustenance and killing them on their indigenous lands seems to be the full culture .
Then should Keep that barbaric culture to their land

it is only God that knows where @NafeesaAA got her own news from because even DailyTrust report that three(3) Irigwe youths were killed while two(2) Fulanis where killed as a retaliation by the Irigwe youths!

https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/5-killed-in-irigwe-fulani-attacks.html

5 killed in Irigwe/Fulani attacks
Five people have been killed in attack and a counter-attack between Irigwe and Fulani youths in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Sources within Bassa said the residents found Monday evening the corps of three Irigwe youths alleged to have been killed by Fulani herders, and the North Central Chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Danladi Chiroma, told Daily Trust that two Fulani youths: Musa Idris and Anas Zakariya, were equally killed around Kamarun Chawai on Tuesday by youths believed to be Irigwe.

He described the renewed violent incidents in the area as political, saying, “This government and security agents are trying their best but the youths from both sides must learn to exercise restraint and not allow politicians to deceive them.”

A military insider told Daily Trust that the attacks were a tit for tat. “The youths from the two ethnic groups cannot claim innocence. They are the ones causing all the problems,” he said

Operation Safe Haven Media and Information Officer, Major Adam Umar confirmed the five deaths, saying, “The three people killed around an illegal mining site are suspected to be Irigwe youths while the other two corpses are suspected to be of Fulani youths. We are investigating the killings.”

The state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Tyopev Terna, said the CP Adie Undie had just ended a meeting between locals and herders from Bassa, Jos South, Riyom and Barkin Ladi LGAs and had warned them to desist from attacks and counter-attacks.

This OP is known member of the media arm of the Fulani terrorism machinery , they are known to go as far as using special effect makeup and crisis actors to set up false flag stories aimed at giving justification to the blood thirsty nature of the Fulani ..I have call on the mods for the umpteenth time to take down the moniker of the OP as allowing her to post terrorist material and propaganda amounts to providing material and moral support for the third most dangerous terrorist group in the world .

Is it that when you go for your Koranic school, they exchange the certificate for your brain? These animals destroy farmlands all because of their cattles and when challenged they kill or attack farm owners. They can as well stay in the north that got large land mass.

News report bias is based on the side the reporter belongs. Op is sympathetic to the fulani, but I all can say is that there is no monopoly to violence.

Where are the Fulani leaders? ? ?

Why can't the leaders of Fulani people come out, make statements and negotiate?

FG cannot be using cattle-colonies to grab people's ancestral lands.
