What damn silly line are you talking about here?
This is a separatist group in Cameroon of which no country anywhere in the world would ever want to tolerate in its own territory.
Afamefuna, your demand is dead on arrival
the UK held a referendum over separation. When last did you read anything outside Nairaland?

No pity for Southern Cameroon. They were part of Nigeria prior to 1963 when they held a referendum and chose to be part of French-speaking Cameroon. Nice play out.

A part of this country will soon start regretting her alliance with the uncounted lewd barbarians from up yonder.

What's the difference?

Is southern Nigeria not trying to break away from the north?

the difference is they are ruing there decision to be part of Cameroon just after 1963.

And the truth about our scuffle for separation is that the heart of Nigerian agitation is for true federalism not desolation of the country.

Southern Nigeria will at the end seek for their independence because the North will never agree for restructuring. Same with what is happening in Cameroon.

Their agitations is same with ours. Everything that has to do with North leads to chaos. Even southern Sudan broke away from their north.

You and I know each other so well on this forum, when we always wanted Eze ndigbo nairaland, when you became a mod and and stuff.
We told our stories about our parents' experiences during the war and how we wanted Biafra back.
Not until IPOB you love and support so much came into the picture and I decided to crush anything Biafra from within.
I really don't care what you or any IPOB miscreant thinks about old yeske! later yeske2 after the crash and finally Yyeske, my opinion and that of several millions of igbos count too and not just a few brainwashed miscreants
You're trying too hard. It's getting old and boring.

The north has kicked against restructuring because there has been no honest, persistent call of restructuring from the south. It’s just a weak rhetoric.

Sudan is a different mix. Southern Sudan are mainly negroid and northern Sudan are Arabs. So racial element is a strong factor there.

Cameroon is also of a different sort essentially because eastern Cameroon was of French colony while southern Cameroon was British having seized it from Germany after the war.

Southern Cameroon has remained part of the administrative unit of Nigeria since after independence until 1960 when they elected to be part of Cameroon.

So the other part is more likely to see them as a kind of geopolitical add-on.

Southern Cameroon will never be allowed by buhari to use Nigerian as a springboard for breaking their country. Buhari did well this time. This will surely weaken IPOB's resolve. It's a win win for Nigeria

Some times I am forced to think that Nigeria is cursed. How can you arrest people with playcards that are seeking for their freedom and leave those with guns that are killing people any how.

Because this people are from southern Cameroon that is why you arrested and locked them up and even denied them access to their lawyers of it were the other side of Cameroon you would have given them a place in Aso rock.

The idea is to stop the Cameroonians from giving refuge to Biafrans.

Unfortunately for them, the Southern Cameroonians still reluctant to identify with IPOB will start doing so very soon.

This is a horrible and unfriendly decision by the Present Nigerian government. I wonder who advised them to deport them. These are asylum seekers, the worst any reasonable govt could have done is to ask them to leave the country, because these guy are not criminals.

This is totally a stupid decision.

Buhari and APC are using this to justify thier actions against IPOD.
Fulani herdsmen are commiting atrocities everywhere.
Why should Nigerian government handover peaceful freedom fighters to a Cameroonian government that is looking for every means to silence or even execute them. How can!! How can!!!
Julian Asange of Wikileaks has been in Ecuadorian embassy for long now.
My heart is broken for this freedom fighters sad shocked shocked shocked

Southern Nigeria wants to break away from Northern Nigeria, now southern Cameroon want to break away from their own north.

Everything about Buhari is upside down. Nigerias sending in the international community in days of yore was based on our willingness to accommodate political refugees. Mandela, Said Barre, Lebanese Liberians fleeing civil war, Charles Taylor, Ghanaian refugees all found refugee here.

Now the government only allows Fulani herdsmen.
How the mighty have fallen.

They did not. Before the first military coup, we practiced real federalism comprising 3 regions and it was fine until the boy in khaki distorted the system.

Where they asylum seekers?

Where they peaceful in their agitations?

It is true no sane Government will allow secession in its land, but they must meet all the criteria to be handed over such as been a violent group and all

Otherwise we suppress the voices of opposition and remove the option of negotiation for progress for disenfranchised groups in Africa.
