Who do we belief?

Did gwazor breach Public Rules by having interests in two private companies or not? He who comes to equity must come with clean hands.

This Gwarzo is really very stupid. Instead of defending the allegation of breach of public service rules levelled against him, he's busy blackmailing the minister. His allegation against the minister would have been believable if he had made it before he was suspended.

I pity this Yoruba woman suspending one of buharis brothers, her matter will soon be tabled before the cabal and she might be the one to go on suspension.

funny country everyone has a skeleton in the cupboard... the same man that killed BGL for mismanagement doesn't want to be nailed even when he is found wanting, everyone is after his/her own selfish interests.. Well he is relying on the president's to end his misery

I think Albert Okumagba should be blamed for BGL woes not Gwarzo

yes client couldn't get their stocks after maturity as it was the usual practice but he went to far by dissolving the investment banking... but later found out it was a personal beef between him and okumagba, a clash of interest that resulted because he was ambitious in the financial sector sec

Quite true, Gwarzo, like most Nigerian public officials, probably has interests in companies that he should not have by law.

But you are all still missing one important thing.

For how long has Gwarzo had this alleged conflict of interest, and, should we not be a bit CURIOUS that his alleged sins are coming to light ONLY after indicting OANDO Plc of multi-billion naira fraud ?

And, did Adeosun try to stop the investigation before finally trying to nail Gwarzo for the alleged conflict of interest ?

Our problem in Nigeria is that no one likes to be accountable.

A lot of you are quick to take sides based on tribe or politics, without asking the very questions that are Germaine to issue.

Gwarzo may be guilty of conflict of interests.
Adeosun might also be wrong by obstructing or stopping the probe of OANDO Plc for multi-billion naira fraud.

Neither issues should obfuscate the other.

This is not supposed to be a difficult investigative hearing. First, can Gwarzo prove that Kemi Adeosun is or was influencing his investigation of Oando Plc?

Second, can Kemi Adeosun prove that Gwarzo breached SEC's rules? These should form the fulcrum of the hearing.

That is the Nigeria Problem.
Did Gwarzo infringe on the code and conduct of his office? If that is YES? Then the Minister was right and he should remain suspended.

The issue Gwarzo is raising about Oando is not connected to this case and has nothing to do with it.
My reason is very clear, He knew the minister was after him based on what he said, so he should not have done the wrong thing for the Minister to suspend him.

He should pursue that issue outside of this hearing probably with the President .
So we should always stick to the issues and not bring in sentiments and distractions that are not connected to the issue.

The simple question is Did Gwarzo breach Public Rules by having interests in two private companies?

If the answer is YES, he should remain suspended.

Don't be clever by half.

The panel should also investigate the Oando case raised by Gwarzo while upholding his suspension.

God bless you.

It is unfortunatel that Afonjas are defending their sister.

Gwarzo suspension should be upheld while Oando is investigated.

Gwarzo's accusation should not be swept under the carpet.

Most of those reps were just an embarrassment. They adamantly refused to focus on the relevant facts and questions. It was quite delightful to watch the smart woman provide responses that exposed the reps as the mental midgets they truly are, yet painful to note that those are the sort of people making our laws.

@the bolded, Adeosun made it clear that the forensic probe of Oando was still in progress. I suspect that if the reps are interested in evidence, they should not find it difficult to request progress updates on the probe without violating any confidentiality clauses that may apply. In fact, nothing stops the reps from investigating the Oando issue as a separate matter.
