frosbel2:Stop trying to equate Babalawos to Pastors. Even he prays, the people being prayed for have a responsibility to pray themselves. |

Seun:You are quoting that scripure out of context. The "works" being talked about here are the actions that we take as a result of faith that's true. You quoted James 2:15-17 but further reading to verse 23 reveals that the works being talked about is that taken to validate our faith and not the "work done for God to bless". 2 Likes |

When the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria stipulated that Trustees of NGOs retire after 20 years, Pastor Adeoye didn't ask us to fast and pray. He came put straight and hammered the act of the FRCN as an affront on the church by the FG. When Mrs Dorcas an ordained RCCG Deaconess was murdered in Abuja while preaching early in the morning, Pastor Adeboye kept shut. Fulani herdsmen are sacking and killing people, he's using quadratic equations. Jesus Christ must really be proud of him. 5 Likes 3 Shares |

No serious nation on this planet solves their developmental challenges by praying so you guys should keep being mentally lazy and continue praying for issues like fulani herdsmen attacks to end. Didnt they pray many years ago for BH to end instead they have waxed stronger. Only Africans pray to solve problems that needs people with the will and integrity to sit down and use their brains to solve. Things like desertification and the almost 90% depletion of lake Chad is some of the reasons for herdsmen farmers clashes and no amount of prayer will solve those problems. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

troublemakea: sometimes the consequences of our actions fall unto our ourselves or children later in life and we may not even connect the consequences to the utterances of our mouth but if we were to later discern, we would understand that its what we said that put us in the troubles we and others around us are facing at the moment. |

Stupid rationalizations. These people will never make Nigerians and their member think. Religion can be bad for sound reasoning as applicable to life and its problems. They are the reason why the killings may not stop soon. 4 Likes |

tiredoflife: Yea. They are okay with all the stupid logic and reasoning they dish out on their members as long as the killing does not affect them and their family. Same man will travel around with armed security and entourage and now tell members that 'prayer' is more effective than 'activism' in matters of security and social upheavals. Can you imagine what affront on rationality. It's sad for me, I cant deal at all. Pastors have finished our thinking! Stupid people. 3 Likes |

If only he could sight a prayer warrior that is more effective than an activist asides the Bible(a fictious book for cavemen) then, I'd take this tithe monger seriously... If only his congregation and his followers knew all he cares about is tithes and their offerings. 1 Like |

mikedimeji: Due to the respect I have for his age and the fact that the Bible is against calling people fools I won't call him one... But he deserves to because he thinks us to be fools quotes bible passages and and incite people against the govt when his position is threatened but keeps silent when the masses are suffering in the name of prayer so we do the dirty work for him. When he talks only one verse of the bible comes to mind...be not unequally yoked with unbelievers. |

Crap To all Rccg peeps on here, get offended if you like, but this is stupid and flimsy talk by G. O So if wrong is happening, he will wait for a higher authority to react and condemn it while he sits and watches? How does that sound. Peter and John kept disobeying Sanhedrin Orders to do the right thing. And " We would rather obey God than men" Jeremiah kept getting into trouble cos he kept condemning and firing missiles at the evil done by the Jews. Didn't he know the consequences? of course he did. almost to death. Did he wait for the chief prophet of the school of prophets to decide whether to continue or not after he was left in a slimy dungeon for months? You fall my hand. 2 Likes |
