We’ve decided to pick out some Romantics and heartbreaking movies to see this Valentine’s Day.

There’s something for everyone on this list, including the critically panned erotic romantic drama, “Fifty Shades of Grey”

Check them out.

“The Fault in Our Stars”
It’s never too late to find true love, even on your death bed.

Without doubt one of the most emotional movies ever, “The Fault in our Stars” is based on the novel by John Green.

“The Fault in Our Stars” probably doesn’t seem like the kind of movie you would trap yourself at home for on a Valentine’s Day, but watching Hazel and Augustus fall in love with each other after meeting at a cancer support group is a brave love story worth watching over and over again.

2. “Fugitive”

An underrated romantic movie about love and friendship, “Fugitive” revolves around a boxer, who lloses everything when he accidentally kills his girlfriend.

He is rescued by a compassionate and rich lawyer who takes him in as a son. Things take a different turn when the lawyer’s daughter develops feelings for him.

This is for anyone looking for a movie that explores the good and bad sides of love, friendship and unrequited love.

3. “Sleepless in Seattle”

In this 1993 romantic comedy, a recently widowed man’s son calls a radio talk-show in an attempt to find his father a partnerfter the death of his wife,

His father grudgingly gets on the line to discuss his feelings. A reporter in Baltimore hears him speak and falls for him, even though she is engaged.

Unsure where it will lead, she writes him letter asking to meet at the Empire State Building on Valentine’s Day..


4. “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”

In this ultimate romantic cult Bollywood film, a dying, a woman leaves letters asking her daughter to play matchmaker for her father and his college friend.

A movie that preaches that love is friendship, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” is always worth seeing.

5. “Love Actually”

Considered by some as the greatest romantic comedy movie of all time, “Love Actually” explores the complexities of love in nine intertwined stories.

Among the characters examined are David, the handsome newly elected British prime minister who falls for a young junior staf.

There’s also Sarah , a graphic designer whose devotion to her mentally ill brother complicates her love life, and

Harry , a married man tempted by his attractive new secretary.

The movie examines love from virtually all angles and it’s always a great watch.

6. “This is It”

A profoundly heartfelt web series, “This is It” follows the first year journey of a young clueless newlyweds Dede and Tomide’

The series delves into an exposition of married life at a young age and the truths that loiter behind closed doors.

With an arresting script, charming music and seamless editing, the series will leave you charmed and in the perfect mood for the season.

7. “Fifty Shades of Grey” Trilogy

You could binge-watch the first and second installment of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” trilogy, before heading to the cinema to see the final part, “Fifty Shades Freed.”

An adaptation of E.L. James’ book of same name, the series follows the story of the sadomasochistic relationship between Anastasia Steele and a young business magnate, Christian Grey.

8. The Royal Hibiscus Hotel

“The Royal Hibiscus Hotel” breathes life into your favourite 90s Harlequin romance novel.

In the romantic comedy, a disillusioned London chef visits Nigeria and struggles with her matchmaking mother and restoring the family’s rundown hotel.

She’s heartbroken when she discovers the man she loves is buying it.

It is predictable, but it is a crowd-pleaser. » It is momentarily enjoyably, and it is worth seeing this valentine season. »

9. “Pretty Woman”

“Pretty Woman” is one of those movies that remain embedded in memories.

28 years after its release, it’s still easy to remember scenes, lines, songs, moments and the feelings that came with watching a billionaire fall in love with his hired escort.

“Pretty Woman” centers on Hollywood hooker Vivian Ward, who is hired by Edward Lewis , a wealthy businessman, to be his escort for several business and social functions, and their developing relationship over the course of her week-long stay with him.

10. “Gidi Blues”

» A simple and warm love story, “Gidi Blues” tells the story of Akin, an indulged playboy from an affluent family who accidentally meets an interesting young lady in an unpredictable place.
