The issue of estimated bills in Nigeria is becoming annoying and disgusting. Our prepared meter got damaged more than three years ago. It was repaired by one of their staff and got demage again. We asked for another prepaid meter but told us it was not available and converted it to estimated bills.

We were given around 5k that time. For more than two years now the bill have become worrison and we continue to pay part of the given bills and the balance keep accumulating. They continued to cut the light and were told that even if we cant pay the balance on the bill that we should be paying the current charges.

The current charges are around 15k to 30k every month. Even after paying suvh amount they would still come and cut the light since nobody used to be around in the afternoon. How much I am even paying for accommodation self. Last month 28k were given and we paid 30k and this month 13k was given last week and we paid 15k. I came back today and discovered that they have cut it again.

What is the NERC, Senate, House of Rep, Presidency and Ministry of Power are doing about this craziness? They continue to compound the suffering of ordinary Nigerians.

Please let us all rise and stop this craziness. The prepaid meters has directed by NERC should be given to all customers.
