This morning I was supposed to switch classes. On getting to one of the classes, I met the English teacher teaching ,so I signalled to her to round up her class. Just then I got interested in what she was teaching...

I really weep for the generations coming... This is what our education system has been reduced to.

Note this is a government owned school

Where we got it wrong in our education was when we decided to limit education to knowledge of "English language".. There are alot of illiterates out there today who speak queen's English. Because you speak better English than a German or Russian professor doesn't make you more educated than him.

OP This teacher's case is much better than the pathetic cases which I have come across.

Products of a failed educational system perpetuating the same level ignorance and incompetence on the next generation.

There is need to declare a state of emergency in the education sector. This is a sad development but it is more worse with those corp members who still need to be taught. I have been saying this and will continue to say it. Teaching is more than holding the chalk or reading from a textbook to students/pupils. Why make corp members teach? Most of them are empty heads. They end up doing more harm than good.

Where will you even start the correction in this case?

I wish we were told where the school is located. Cos I won't be surprised it's a village school where supervisors don't go to regularly.
Again, the teacher might be a corp member or anyone else who didn't study English Language in the university(that's if the person even went to the university).
A lot could be said about the school's administrators also.

Ebios, come and see o.

What did you tell the person when you saw that he or she wasn't doing the right thing? If you didn't tell the person anything , then i see you have more problem.
